    Link would win, all link has to do is put a bomb in the way of his fireball, which would light the fuse and throw it at mario bada bing, BOOM

                Mario uses Star Power, doesn't get hurt. also he can turn into metal mario, links sword and arrows can't do **** all.

                    Ok...first off, star power lasts like...10 seconds at best. And I'm pretty sure if Link hit metal Mario with the megaton hammer...he would get killed...either that or a bomb...Link has all the tools he needs.

                            I don't think metal Mario is very fast...therefore all Link has to do is ride in circles around Mario until both wear off, Link pops Mario with a light arrow and its all over :P

                                            Just for the recorded, Link has the Goron Suit, so he has nothing to fear of Mario's fireballs when it comes to being incinerated. I just thought I should point that out.
