    My Oblivion CD died....

So, I've been addicted to Oblivion for XBox 360 for months. Recently, I made the mistake of tipping/tilting my XBox while trying to move it to a different place in the room while it was still on(DON'T EVER DO THIS). It completely scratched up my CD and is unplayable now! It made a nasty scratching noise too. I should really start reading the directions before plugging in new consoles because I had no idea this was going to happen. I am so pissed. 60 bucks down the drain.

NEVER TILT YOUR XBOX 360 WHILE IT IS ON!

I am assuming this is probably common sense. I don't have any.

It really wasn't as addictive as morrowind was, I think I only played Oblivion for about 70-80 hours, that's nothing.

Still, I have it for PC, no worries about tilting there.

This happened to me the day I got the game. I just put the CD back in its case and brought it back to Best Buy a couple days later saying it came like that, and they gave me a new one. Luckily, I kept the receipt.

I saw a video on xbox tipping when it first came out, odd that they haven't been able to fix that.

Oblivion was pretty horrible by comparison, though still a pretty good game.

Good to know, as I absolutely hated Morrowind. Granted, I returned it because I was returning my 360, as well, but I would have gotten a good game instead of Oblivion had I kept it anyway.

Because tilting your Xbox for no reason in game really makes sense.

When your mom is vaccuming and you don't want to have to save your progress, turn it off, and then have to turn it on again....you sometimes do things without thinking. It isn't that far fetched. **** happens.

Yeah, it does get boring for me pretty quickly as well. Yet, it is one of those games that, later on, I really feel like playing again so I start a new game until I get bored of it again. Then that cycle repeats, like with Mario64 and Zelda Ocarina of Time.

I like Morrowind more than Oblivion. They're both good games but I just got tired of Oblivion after a while. I might come back to playing it in a few months but as for right now I'm done with it.

I hardly play morrowind anymore, I did start a new game on Krissy's laptop though, and I play it there the odd time when bored.
