Takes 15 hours now!
And I level pretty darn fast compared to other classes at my level.
It would be faster if we had the third job. My friend has pretty much maxed Thieves and Pickpocket, and is well on his way to getting Meso Explosion, then Assaulter. My other friend has Thrasher done and is working on Sacrifice now.

I don't know how you guys have the patience for that, I'm only level 18 and I'm getting sick of this, it just takes so god damn long...Comment

scorpio, the one thing that will make you level up faster than anything is to not think about leveling up. Do quests (don't just buy the items you need, go hunt for them), walk around helping newbs, or maybe play another game for a while if MS gets boring. Most people can't grind away at MS for long periods of time like Tosh and Squeek do. Trust me, you'll probably level a lot faster (or seem to) if you do other things. I alternate between Guild Wars and MS and it makes neither of them get old and boring like they would by themselves. That, and I focus on things other than leveling. I used to do laps around Victoria island just for the hell of it, and it made me quite a bit of money (due to not fighting anything very hard while running around) and some experience. You could do what eric did and cover your exp bar with a sticky note.
Recap: When you're not thinking about leveling up, you do it a lot more, it seems. So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment

Ya I do laps around the island and help my friend level up, I've done as many quests as I can do right now though, which is only getting the fire wood and sticks for Black Bull's house and I got the Red Triangular Shield from that which I sold for 25,000 since I'm not a warrior. I can't even hit the Jr. Neckis yet and so I can't do the guard's quest. Also I can't make it far enough into the dungeon to get to the Zombie Shrooms to get those 20 proof of the dead things for the Arcon's Blood.Comment

I was SO determinded to get all those scrolls of the dead by myself. Everyone else asked YOU for help. I was like, "Hellz naw. Those Undead Mushrooms are tough, but I am GOING TO DO THIS. ME. MYSELF."
And then I died 5 time. =/Comment

A guy tried to sell me a return scroll to sleepywood and I laughed at him until he left the screen. It was comical.Comment

It always seems like the quest can only be completed 5 levels later for non-mages. Example?Originally posted by MrESqueekFor whatever reason, quests are not designed to be completed at the level they are assigned.

Yeah... That is why I help out some noobs by giving them my charms because I train in the dungeon.. There are a lot of good sniping places for archers in the dungeon.

I'm level 41 and I'm still working on those dolls. Sure, I've completed numerous doll quests already, but I'm only about halfway done, I think.Originally posted by ToshXIt always seems like the quest can only be completed 5 levels later for non-mages. Actually, Archers can finish getting Jr. Necki skins before Magicians.Originally posted by ToshXIt always seems like the quest can only be completed 5 levels later for non-mages. Example?
Jr Necki Skins, Xupin's Voodoo Doll Thing.
Recall that at that level, we still don't have a decent attack.
The problem is that this extends all the way to the higher-leveled quests. The 55 magician quest for a shoe requires 50 items from various enemies. The ones above 55 include:
Dark Stone Golem Rubble = Level 58 enemy.
Wild Cargo = Level 62 enemy.
Tauromacis = Level 70 enemy.
The level of an enemy's drop needed for a quest is seemingly always over the level of the quest. And the worst part is that quest rewards are pretty crummy. The EXP is lame and the item is hardly worth it.
I haven't even done the 10/15 quests. I was entirely focused on leveling when Scania came out with 2x EXP, so I ignored quests. I still haven't gotten around to doing the ones that didn't give me anything I thought I would need.
