I had some mouse troubles today, couldn't play MS... thought my comp had a virus at first, turned out to be the goddamn mouse. Plugged a new one in and it works fine =)

This level 55 quest for Bowman is really annoying... All I need is 50 cargo eyes and then I'm done with the fucking thing. I was doing it for almost 2 hours... I don't think it is worth it, but at least I get my level 60 shoes out of this....................................... On a brighter note, I gained 20% doing quests today... (only about 5% of it being fighting monsters...)

I should go to cerberes.
A DR would be oh so nice.
I'm too busy getting ready to own a jr rog though. I'm idling overnight. I plan on soloing him tomorrow morning.
EDIT: Doing some research on rog before trying my hand at taking him on...
Bain's magic attack: 465.
Bain's are stupidly powerful and can two hit me easily with their magic attack, even with MG on.
Jr Rog's magic attack: 605.
I'm boned.
There is no way I'll be able to battle and keep myself alive.
I'm sure as hell gonna try though

The telecasting will help, yes, but aren't his attacks projectile? I won't be able to use the telecasting technique I use on WW/cerberes/yeti/etc. if it's projectile.Originally posted by banditcomAlong with teleshooting... Should be easy for you.. -_-
And there is one that is undodgeable.
And I wasn't planning on using elixers. Seems kinda wasteful. I suppose that would make it a lot easier on me though. I only have 99 on me though. Hopefully that'll be enough.
EDIT: rog's claw thing is too strong. I was a little under max HP and he killed me from it.
Worst part is: it's the unnavoidable one.
I think Noah and I are going down there soon though. I can mash heal and sundaes while noah mashes arrow and sundaes. That should make it piss easy.

Re: Maple Story
You say this like there has been some new news, but I don't see any. What do you know that I don't? o___OEDIT: going back to coolies. They should be empty with the coming of Ludi.
Anywho, I've been thinking about 3rd job again, and I've hit yet another thing I can't decide on. So far, my build is going to be 1 in explosion, then 3 amp and 11 booster, then max explosion. After that, I have to choose between composition and elemental amp for maxing. Now, amp will already have 3 points from me needing to unlock booster, so it will only need 17 points (<6 levels' worth) rather than 30 (10 levels' worth). Also, amp will be a 135% increase in attack for FA AND explosion (making them both 162 attack instead of 120) but comp would only be 150 attack (well, a little more since I'll have 3 amp no matter what).
HOWEVER, the big problem comes from the double MP cost. I'd like to be stronger sooner, and I know I'll have plenty of money by the time able to max either comp or amp, but still, would the benefits outweigh the costs? MPE will help, but only so much. Also, that 150 base attack from compo doesn't count in the poison damage it deals to enemies, which can and will make a difference damage-wise. So...what do you all think? Amp or compo first? So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment

Re: Maple Story
Amp is 30, not 20.Level 01: Use 105% MP, Magic Attack 102%
Level 02: Use 110% MP, Magic Attack 104%
Level 03: Use 115% MP, Magic Attack 106%
Level 04: Use 120% MP, Magic Attack 108%
Level 05: Use 125% MP, Magic Attack 109%
Level 06: Use 130% MP, Magic Attack 110%
Level 07: Use 135% MP, Magic Attack 111%
Level 08: Use 140% MP, Magic Attack 112%
Level 09: Use 145% MP, Magic Attack 113%
Level 10: Use 150% MP, Magic Attack 114%
Level 11: Use 160% MP, Magic Attack 116%
Level 12: Use 155% MP, Magic Attack 116%
Level 13: Use 165% MP, Magic Attack 118%
Level 14: Use 160% MP, Magic Attack 118%
Level 15: Use 170% MP, Magic Attack 120%
Level 16: Use 165% MP, Magic Attack 120%
Level 17: Use 175% MP, Magic Attack 122%
Level 18: Use 170% MP, Magic Attack 122%
Level 19: Use 180% MP, Magic Attack 124%
Level 20: Use 175% MP, Magic Attack 124%
Level 21: Use 185% MP, Magic Attack 126%
Level 22: Use 180% MP, Magic Attack 126%
Level 23: Use 190% MP, Magic Attack 128%
Level 24: Use 185% MP, Magic Attack 128%
Level 25: Use 195% MP, Magic Attack 130%
Level 26: Use 190% MP, Magic Attack 130%
Level 27: Use 205% MP, Magic Attack 132%
Level 28: Use 200% MP, Magic Attack 132%
Level 29: Use 195% MP, Magic Attack 132%
Level 30: Use 200% MP, Magic Attack 135%
Plus it only increases by 2% for the first 4 levels.. then it's 1% for a while... then it's 1% every few levels.
I'd say...
1 explosion
3 amp
1 amp, 2 booster
9 booster
max explosion
Then either comp or mist... I'd choose comp.
This way you still get 11 booster at the same level you would anyways, plus the 8% from amp. Also throw in a seal somewhere. It rocks.Comment
