I was loyal to nintendo for a long time. I was one of those kids who thought N64 was the best system ever. But Nintendo continuously came out with weak titles, while Playstation had awesome titles. When PS2 came out, I bought one. I hated X-Box and GC after that. Then I realized the modding capabilities of X-Box. So, now I only hate GC.
X-Box or PS2?

You can actually make it so you can rip games onto the hard-drive, which is a totally plus.
! Seriously? But if it's true then why? *rents 5 games* *rips 5 games* *returns 5 games same day and reports the didn't work so you get them for free*.
Now an X-box with both X-box and PS2 games, that would own. And a PS2 controller wouldn't hurt either... but the X-box ones aint bad...Comment

i think the gamecube has the best controller, too. its so easy to get used to. ive played xbox so many times, and i still have to look at the controller to figure out which button im pressing. as you can see, my favorite system is Gamecube. it has the best games in each genre (in my opinion) and it has zelda. there even making a bonus disc with the 4 orginal zeldas, along with a gamecube for 100 bucks. you can't beat that. (for those of you who already have Gamecube and want the disc, it comes free with a sunscription to nintendo power)Comment

I used to be loyal to Nintendo but not since they came out with GC either I hate GC all the games are to kiddish for me, but i still have a Super Nintendo.
I have recently tried X-box again (for about the 17th time) and now it is improving they are getting better games now but i still think that ps2 owns in the games that it has. And the ps2 controller is (in my opinion) the easiest one too use.Comment

They're making something of the sort. It's called the DISCover, and it's coming early next year...it's basically a thick, silver PS2 (resembles the PSX) with a slightly modified Duelshock, and it will be able to play games from Xbox and PS2, as well as PC games, and all the normal functions (DVD, CD playing, online play, etc). The downside is that it's rumored to come out at around $300 (you can buy beefed up models for more), but when compared with spending $200 for an Xbox and PS2, then another $500-? for a computer, it sounds pretty good.Originally posted by HobbesX2*Now an X-box with both X-box and PS2 games, that would own. original nintendo has some awesome games which started some cool franchises and their controller is so simple and works........so accoring to you nintendo is better then xbox, gamecube, and ps2....since everything else is irrelevent........and i dont memorize system specs, if you go on google and tpye in "xbox specs" it shows you the freakin specsOriginally posted by MoogyIt's sad that you memorized meaningless system specs. The only thing that matters on a console is the games, and the controller. Everything else is irrelevant.Comment

Topic A:
The GC controller could use a few more buttons on it. There aren't enough functions on it to actually get a complex game. Because it does have so few buttons, it is easy to learn. Think of trying to play Jedi outcast (for those of you that have it) on that GC controller. It would never work. The X-Box controller has a ton of fuctions.
Now being an elite gamer, I think that even the X-box controller could easily use two more buttons.
Topic B:
Wind Waker is crap. It is a disgrace to the Zelda titles. It might be alright to some little kid, but it should not be considered another "Legend of Zelda".Comment

alotta people say that, but its not that easy if you try to unlock everything. ive been playing zelda since i was born (i got my first zelda when i was 5) and i would have to say WW is one of the most challenging in the series. if you think its easy, i would like to see a pic. of you with every heart, hylian text, and images showing every single figurine. if you can do that, then you can say that zelda was a piece of cake. (no offence, just proving a point)Comment

I'm not saying it was hard. I'm saying it was screwed up. I don't care if that character is a decendant of link or not. Any character that ugly should be taken out and shot. (It reminds me of playing the "echo of emptiness" while regular link and looking at the statue it creates[Majora's Mask for all you out there])Comment

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. The NES is better than the current home consoles because it has better games.Originally posted by blueice57original nintendo has some awesome games which started some cool franchises and their controller is so simple and works........so accoring to you nintendo is better then xbox, gamecube, and ps2....since everything else is irrelevent........and i dont memorize system specs, if you go on google and tpye in "xbox specs" it shows you the freakin specsOriginally posted by MoogyIt's sad that you memorized meaningless system specs.
