    Replay Value

What game have you guys played more times than any other? So far, I'm on:

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - 3 times
Final Fantasy Tactics - 1.5 times
    Final Fantasy - 3 times
Final Fantasy VI - 2 or 3 times
Final Fantasy VII - 2 or 3 times
Final Fantasy VIII - 2 times
Any MegaMan game - lots of times
Pokémon - 2 or 3 times (on a single cart)
Donkey Kong Country games - 2 times

And so on. So what games do YOU GUYS think have the most replay value?

P.S. I never found FFIX or X to have much at all, even though IX was pretty good.

    Re: Replay Value

MegaMan has a good bit of replay value. But Metroid games I replay alot, especially the last time I played Metroid Prime 2, where I was going for 100% items and scans.

Yeah, I played Metroid Fusion again after beating it once, just to see if I could get 100% in four hours.

Skies of Arcadia, Final Fantasy tactics, Star Fox, Star Fox 64, FFVI, Civ III, Civ II.

A bunch of other games that don't take long to beat (fighters, &c.)

Though not really a storyline game, Super Smash Bros. Melee has the best replay value of any game I've played.

Wilkin, I'm really surprised that you, after having played FFT before, would play FFTA AGAIN. I mean, it's a great game and all if you've never played the original, but it's just a piece of **** if you have, relative, of course, only to the original.

                  Re: Replay Value

FFT - 3000 hours, memory card dedicated to it
                  Disgaea - 2000 hours
Star Ocean 2 - 1000 hours, takes up like half a memory card
                  Star Ocean 3 - 600 hours
                  Shin Megami Tensei 3 - 400 hours
Devil May Cry 3 - Maxed out timers (99:59) for both Dante and Vergil, no idea how long I actually played it for >_>

Dunno, just some stuff I can think of the actual times for. SMT3 isn't really that long if you look at the game itself, though.

I've probably beaten every SNES RPG at least 10 times. I've played Super Metroid more than 50 times. Pretty much any SNES game I have has been played to death.

Meh. FFT would be my most-played game, at 3000 hours or so. I need to get a new FFT disc since I wore it out from playing it so much.

                  PS: FFTA sucks.

                    Re: Replay Value

I've played FFTA so many times because 1) I keep missing missions somewhere, so I'm always left with like, two I don't have the item for and JUST WANT TO BEAT IT, and 2) it goes a lot faster than FFT and is portable, though FFT freaking owned with the teleport shoes on a thief.

Oh, yeah, Super Mario Bros. RPG was probably a two-timer.

                      Re: Replay Value

FFVII - Completed it about 9 times, god knows how many hours.

Morrowind - Easily 500+, I think it was closer to 1000. At one point I had 3/4 of the map explored with one character.

Pokemon Gold - Completed 4 times, probably spent a few hundred on it.

NWN - A couple of hundred hours, about 3 completions.

Snes RPG's in general - thousands of hours. Probably completed at least 3/4 of them.

I must've beaten Lunar 2 over 10 times now. Hell, maybe even 15.

Also, all of the Pokemon games way too many times.
