Possible characters for SSB3

Remember! Only few of these characters will be recrutied for SSB3. Others will be spat out.

But if they include all characters that would convince me for buying the Revolution (I am thinking more on a PS3).

This is not a list for every Nintendo Character to be in the game. Characters on these pages are just submissions from different people.

As if Tokzic's post weren't enough, many of those characters would be terrible.

Just a few who would make terrible fighters:

1. Frog Mario
2. Any character where there would be more than one of them (Team Rocket, Plusle and Minun, Pon & Con, etc.)
3. Jigglypuff (lolz)
4. Laughing Dog
5. Balloon Fighter (how the hell are you gonna beat a guy suspended by balloons?)
6. shyguy (wtf could this guy do? walk around? Get picked up by Mario and thrown at other players?)

Others would be awesome:

1. Tanooki Mario (although they'd have to make him unnable to fly which would be kinda lame)
2. Diddy Kong (gotta love the DKC)
3. Dixie Kong (see Diddy Kong, except replace DKC with DKC2)
4. Sneasel would probably be pretty cool for a while
5. King K Rool would probably be a terrible fighter (he'd probably play just like Bowser), but he'd be really fun
6. Hammer Mario

Surprisingly missing from the list are Sonic and Tails, who were rumored to have been included in Melee. However, I don't believe Nintendo would use a SEGA character in a game such as Super Smash Bros., as it's supposed to be like a Nintendo all-stars sumo style fighter.

Keep in mind that there is a possibility of having Sega characters take part in this too. The only prevention for that is if Nintendo wants it to be solely exclusive.

But you gotta admit. Including Sonic, Knuckles, Shadow, Earthworm Jim, and some crazy other characters who also deserve recognition but whose names I cannot recall at the moment would fit right in.

Well, Super Smash Bros. is supposed to be an allstar Nintendo game. I wouldn't think that Nintendo would include SEGA characters.

However, I wouldn't be opposed to SEGA making a ripoff with SEGA characters. That would be a pretty good game, methinks.

LOL I'd love to play with that many characters!! Just think of how many ppl would be possible in a tournement..... =P also, about the Sonic team, I think they should add at least knuckles and Rouge bcuz they actually fight with punches and not just jumping on peoples heads

Just like how Mario only jumps on people's head. I think it'd be great to have SEGA characters. Earthworm Jim would absolutely kick ass.
