Ah no I have a PS3, but yeah that still came out a while ago... xD
Sadly, until a couple years ago we were in really bad debt... Just starting to get more of an income and were able to buy one after a few months of lay away as a Christmas present for the family last year

Ah yes that makes sense. The fortuante thing for you is that there are already tons of great games out for Ps3, whereas if you got the Ps4 on launch, there probably wouldn't be many great games for awhile. So don't worry

I highly reccomend the Mass Effect Trilogy if you don't already have it. It's only $60 for all three games. I paid at least $60 for each game :/

Was talking to a buddy about GTA5 and he informed me that the PS4 was going to be revealed in a few weeks

I feel like a geezer. The PS3 still seems like newfangled technology to me. I'm also not nearly as interested in playing games myself as when the last wave of consoles were released. For the first time ever, I plan to skip this next generation of consoles entirely.

I'm still excited to mooch off of other people's shiny new toys though

I get the same feeling. I still haven't played a ps3 yet and I rarely played the xbox 360. Just having a good PC seems infinitely more convenient.

No idea where you got this from. The hardware on the current consoles is way outdated. I'd buy one if it came out right now.

That's kind of what I meant. I mean, of course a lot of people want a new console, but there's also a lot of people who are either completely content with having consoles in their current state, can't afford them, or just don't want any advancement because they just don't feel like it's necessary.

It's good they're finally coming out with new hardware anyways. New hardware means more software/games that can really impress people and not be limited to hardware restrictions.

This might also mean the PC crowd that I've grown accustomed to will mean I will be forced to actually upgrade if I want to play some new stuff.
