    bunking revamp.

if they really trust each other can bunk together. they both send PM's to the host and they say which place they want to stay. if the wolves choose to wolf the place where they no longer are there's no kill that night. if a wolf is bunking with a human, he gets the option of a free kill, in addition to the nightly wolf kill. i think there'd be a rule that even if multiple wolves are bunking with humans they can only pick one for the night. if the wolves attack a house with two people in it, double kill.

if two people are bunking and they both die, we'll find out where they were bunking. for the optional wolf kills, bodies will be found in the town square.

so the wolves have a big advantage here, with a possible 3 kills in a night. but we'd take that away by shrinking their numbers. 4 wolves, 18 people total.

there will be ONE mason pair. this gives the humans a good chance of at least finding one wolf.

also, one guardian that defends by the house, not by the person. if the guardian defends a house with a human and a wolf in it, and the wolf tries to take his optional wolf kill, the wolf will get his kill, but he wont make it out of the house, so the body will be announced at the house that the two were bunking at.

    also: there will be cardflipping.

    that's the idea.

at first glance it looks like there's not much reason for the humans to bunk, but with some strategy it can be made useful.

So basically there's no reason to bunk and yet you can get royally screwed.

Well if you made it worth the human's time it might work. Like give all green humans an A and a B sign and if one and only one of each type bunk together they are immune to the wolfing. Then take out the guardian.

      Or SOMETHING like that XD.

no, the humans do have an advantage to bunking.

one says to another "i'm bunking with so and so tonight. if i'm found in the center, you know that so and so is a wolf."

of course the other human may actually be a wolf, but that's what makes the game interesting.

this is supposed to be a bloody game, but unlike the last one, there's going to be a better chance for the humans to get information.

Meh, I like my idea better, players aren't crazy enough to try something that would add so many kills per night without there being something really good to balance it.

Quick question FoJar: Is the guardian allowed to guard the house that he is going to stay at for the night? If so, essentially the game is won when any two wolves are pegged, instead of the entire group (of four).

                    Re: bunking revamp.

I still see no reason why anyone would want to bunk with someone. I mean does everyone retire to one of like 10 "places" and there is overlap or what? I think I might be missing that part entirely. So if you HAD to go to a place to sleep and you HAD to bunk with someone I can see the strategy but otherwise I think I'm missing something here.

human 1 tells human 2 "i'm bunking with so and so" human 1 dies, wala wolf.

for the humans to catch wolves this way, they're going to have to 1. trust each other, and 2. not be selfish life loving pieces of ****.

this is a game where you can sacrifice for the team, but only if you pick the right people to trust.

the wolves can be tricky, so nothing is cut and dry, but there are those chances.

Under normal circumstances, I think a human would save himself over trying to save someone else.

yea if the game is set to where you have to sleep in a certain place. Then maybe bunking would be helpful. But if you don't bunk and two people are in the same place, then who dies? If everyone still died if you were knowingly bunking or not then yes I do see the benefit.

But I still don't like the idea XD.

if you dont bunk, then two people cant be in the same place.

everyone has a house, and for people to bunk, the person coming over and the person letting them in both have to PM saying so, otherwise it doesnt happen.
