SUBMISSIONS OPEN

Well, I'm a bit of a noname here, but I've always wanted to make a pack and whatnot, so here goes.

This pack is supposed to be a spiritual successor to all those video game megapacks and other such things. Here are da rules:

1. You're only allowed to submit things from a video game ost, remixes or trailers.
2. You may not submit anything from a BMS game.
3. You must have one single or solo chart.
4. Anything goes after that really. Feel free to step Touhou, japanese games, western games, and whatever else you want.

So this pack, if it gets submissions, might work like a filter for some other packs. If it doesn't, well whatever, I'm ok with that. I'll be the only judge, unless I get submissions and someone wants to help.

Anyone who doesn't have graphics will be provided some. I'm very willing to do graphics for anyone who submits. Also, any files that are from other packs are ok too, just as long as they follow the rules.

Depending on how many submissions I get, if any, this could be a minipack or a full pack. All that matters is I get SOME files. Remember, you can submit either 4key or 6key, either is fine, but I'd really like 4key charts, though any good solo chart is cool too. I'm just hoping to get maybe a little response before FFR Winter opens up.

All reviews will be about the hardest chart, unless I say otherwise. I've played the other charts, just not gonna review them since most people will be playing the hardest or second hardest charts.

Condensed (Pw) [6k]

• Gonna judge the hard chart as the main, seeing as I'm not good enough to actually rate the oni as a player. Layering is consistent and the multiple charts are a godsend. Oni is a nice challenge as far as I can see and the chart is fun and the song is perfect for solo imo.

• I'm not a pro solo player, but I absolutely love chord/quad mash in single and solo. Great difficulty curve and fun song!

Extend Sky (Diokatsu) [4k]

• Refraining from judging since it's my own file. I'm gonna touch it up and what not. If there is Touhou stuff submitted aside from this, I'll probably pass on it since too much Touhou is...bleh.

Ithavoll Building - Lower Floors (Profraine) [4k]

• Bayonetta! Too be honest, this track is not exactly eventful, but I like the steps. It sowcases how stream and freezes can actually be used together. Reminded me of freezes in BB Evolution. Like it and good for the game diversity. Also, cool drum rolls!

• Official judging after I get the solo file, but this is in. Great colored note theory and jacks. Only thing is I would've stepped bursts in other places, but the way you've done it at least add a little more diversity. It's nice to see a file that isn't using constant note smashing to compensate for lackluster steps.

• Reminded me of dondon's Rescue sim. Great chart, thick layering, fun to mash and fun to look at. Not much to say. Consistant file quality from you.

For as long as I think that I'll still get submissions. For a realistic person, that will be about a little after FFR Winter opens up, however, I'll keep them open if submissions are still coming in and for as long as people need if they wanna submit something. So if anyone has a file they wanna try and complete, they can take as long as they want, barring it's like December when they finish.

Sweet. Going to get something in for this. Is there a limit to how many files we can submit (to prevent it from having the pack filled with one person's files and whatnot)?

Nope, you can submit a bunch of files, just depends on if you literally overload the pack. I think at like 6 submissions, I'll start to ween out your files even if they're good. I don't want a one simartist dominated pack, but I want as much as I can fit. And judging will commence as soon as I get a few more files for a new batch!

Background for Condensed. Pw said he wanted abstract BGs, so I tried to make some. If you want more similar stuff, make sure to ask and Profraine is also gonna make some.

Alright. I'll try to finish the full version of Cirno's Hot Spring when I get on a comp that doesn't cause DDReam to lag like a bitch x.x
