After nearly a year of sweating in front of a hot stepmania oven, the Dark Chancellors team release what is most likely the best stepmania megapack up to date. This pack contains files from some of the best simfile artists that have ever stepped mans, even though some have already retired. A huge thanks goes out to the judges, contributors and graphic artists to make the pack happen. With such a large number of judges (went from 30 to about 6) many opinions were given on each simfile to ensure the pack's quality.
As you may notice, the rating system is different. The Dark Chancellors pack incorporates it's own difficulty system for each simfiles. This was entirely new and seemed to fit much better. Besides, who the hell plays pad files on their keyboards anymore? Ratings are from 1-10. These difficulties are keyboard difficulties, so expect lvl 10 files to be hard as **** etc. It's also encouraged to play the xmod files on xmods without fear of 12th stops. We thought of those.
This pack started off as Red Fraction Pack 2, then as SMGroove Pack 3, and finally as the Dark Chancellors pack. The pack went through many changes and has survived stepmania Armageddon. The name fit perfectly since it was created by the dark chancellors of stepmania, aka the top simfile artists in the world. Finally, here is the song list:
