Two points:

1 ) Why didnt somone come and tell me this was happening? I would have like to have known about it since not only was I involved in TPP1 but also got some pretty decent ratings out of my files (worst thing said about them IIRC was "Too easy"....yeah well we had alot of 11s and 12s already and every pack need's it's Cutie Chaser)

2 ) Can you please try to limit the amount of song remixes in the pack? the first one had like 6ish diffirent songs and 25+ remixes (of course numbers are off the top of my head but you get the point) There was no reason way there was 5 versions of one song. I can understand that there isnt that much Touhou Music out there but just make smaller packs and save the rearrangments untill next time.



Oh and by the way, I'll try to get one sim for you guys. If Xiao is going to judge it like a KB file tho then that's probably as much as Im willing to do.

I would, but I'm already making my own pack based on all of the Originals (see random thought), so I'm not doing them. You are welcome to do so if you want. I'll give you whatever original you'd like to step.

Also, your only bad file IMO was Pupil of Frenzy with unnecessary stops. Your files were fun to play.

Thanks, and yeah the stops sucked. my bad on that one.


Also if no one is doing it, I would like to step Alice → Sweet bu IOSYS. It's one of the only IOSYS remixes I care that much for

Sakura Sakura on heavy is one of my favourite files in TPP1.

I mean, 15 song pack would be better then a 30 song pack if the other 15 songs are just speedy mixes, right?

If a song is unique enough that it has semblance to the original yet is pleasing to the ear on its own accord, I see no harm in it.

One remix of a song may appeal to one person, yet not to the next, even though they are remixes of the same melody. You can appeal more this way; I've stepped rock, techno, gabba, j-pop, all remixes of Touhou tracks. You're looking at it in a completely linear way - "same songs = same remixes". I'd prefer a larger pack because a larger array will appeal to a larger audience, be they the same songs or not. Some songs have such little relation to their original that they may as well be their own original tracks.

I don't see what the problem is with having remixes that are of the same song, anyway. You acknowledge there are few Touhou songs worthy of remixing, so naturally, there will be remixes of only those songs.

And no - I'd prefer a 30 song pack if there was more variety in the remix choice than half that amount with a smaller choice. I'd rather have 10 songs and files I like out of a pack, as opposed to just 4 or 5.
