Re: Sync Techniques
I don't believe you.
Every song I tried to use it for (even simple techno) the bpm was always off by at least .1 or .2.

Re: Sync Techniques
Well, if the song has like 1 part where it slows down or speeds up, it will be off by a bit. If it's a constant BPM song, it will be right.Comment

Re: Sync Techniques
Also, I misremembered, it's been like two years since I used mixmeister and it's off by .01 or .02 which isn't such a big deal but yeah.
Either that or the version that was out two years ago (???) was a crappier version.

Re: Sync Techniques
basically what blu said for the 4th note stuff, 'cept I do use Mixmeister. Cuts it pretty close, usually just needs a minor tweak.
For dynamic BPMs: First I find a BPM and GAP that fits the first few bars or part of a song. Then as soon as something's off, I listen to the song on 0.5-0.7x and find out how it's off. Early, decrease BPM. Late, increase BPM. I place syncing priority on drums, then bass, then rhythm sounds, then leads/melodies. For unaccompanied/freeform stuff, however, I usually have no choice but to break out notepad and start typing numbers between those apostrophes D:~ OFFICIALLY RETIRED FROM FFR THE GAME AND FFR TWG ~
Thanks for the memories, folks. u da bes
