ITG RF Project (ITG Custom)

With the success of the RFpack, hopefully you guys are gonna know that RedFraction related project is gonna turn out to be a high quality project, just like the RFpack was.

We had the RFpack for keyboard simfiles. So you all know we need something for pad simfiles. I think we're gonna try and do our pad project a little differently though...

While this is going to be a pad simfile project, that is not all ITG RF is going to be. ITG RF could almost be called a new ITG game. We're going to create a whole new theme for the game, grahpics, background videos, new mods*, new courses, and everything else a new ITG game would have. All of that plus 70 or so new songs, most with full stepcharts to go along with it

(We're going to attempt to do most or all of the above IF POSSIBLE)

We're going to need a handful of graphical artists, which we have already, to create the graphics for the themes. We're going to have to find people that can work with the code of stepmania to develop new mods, or learn how to do them ourselves.


Before we can kick off the project, we need a handful of people to be the staff of this project. We'll need some simfile judges, and some graphical artists (Which I believe we should have) mainly. Along with the opinions and suggestions of every member on RF

RF stands for Red Fraction. Red Fraction is the bemani game based website I own (Though we're mainly DDR/ITG/SM/FFR)

We're basically creating a custom version of ITG with pretty much custom everything. Its an obligatory post on the ITG related forums because its you guys that are going to be using the finished product.

Since the name of the project is ITGRF, I'd really like it for all of the real project discussion and stuff went on in the RedFraction forums, but if that cannot happen, here is fine I guess. But please, if you guys have no problem with it, register on the site and post about this thing in there, so hopefully we can work on this as one big community and not as 5 or 6 communities split up.

I'd like for most of the discussion to be on rfraction, but I know that might not happen. So for simfile submissions, I'd like for you to upload your simfiles to rapidshare or filefront or something, and PM me a link to the submission. Me and my judging team will go over all files and will try to get back to you to say if your simfile has been accepted or not

Songs don't have to be ITG related. Step anything you want as long as the song is under 2:30 in song length

I stepped a Gaussian Blur 2 pad file just recently, knowing you and your packs, prob will have to be super insane pad files XD

Deadline? Lets say 6 months from now.

Where do we send our files? Just upload them to filefront or rapidshare or something and PM me a link to the sims. That or you could post them in the ITGRF forums on rfraction.com

Cool. I'll join in the project for pad files or at least some songs that would make fun files. I don't play ITG too often so I'm not completely great with pad patterns

Yeah, if you remember my Simfile Revamp II project, that never got finished. And yeah, we'd take any files. We need around 70 files accepted for this project

70? looks like people are gonna have to be picky, itg machines only allow 50 songs on your card.

lol Im much better at Pad files then at KB

I have a few files that Flip tested for me a few months ago and said were fun for a ITG machine. since they are unreleased I'll IM you them later...since I rather look them over again before I send them
