Re: Complete Mega Death Kill Dragonforce Pack
I just have to say... Linus' MSWGO is not good. It sucks. The stream doesn't go to the music because there aren't always 16ths going on all the time. The middle section isn't even the right bpm and is offbeat. The beginning and ending could've been done better.

Re: Complete Mega Death Kill Dragonforce Pack
Just wanted to come back to comment on some of your steps sloth.
Personally I think you over use streaming just a little (There are many times that you could go more with the varying parts of guitar and keyboard rather than 16th streaming with the drums), but at least when you stream you do it well (Using trills and such when you should) Besides that you are a talented step artists IMO. You do a really great job on guitar solo's.
You best Stepfile in this pack is easily Disciples of Babylon IMO. Once it get's to the acoustic interlude your true talent really shines. You timed the 12ths/24ths perfectly and knew when to use them (and used holds perfectly as well). Very very fun steps. Remember that a fast step is not always the best or most fun.
You could have done some other's better though, such as Body Breakdown. In a lot of places the jumstream wasn't really called for, and the stepping of the bass solo was really off (and that whole area seemed to be off to me.)
I have to say that there were only a couple like that though, most of your steps are very fun and challenging. I really appreciate you making this pack, because Dragonforce is one of my all time favorite bands.
Thanks again man. Can't wait for that new jazz pack or whatever, try and get some well known step artists in there if you can.

Re: Complete Mega Death Kill Dragonforce Pack
No I expected if, of course. But talented step artists would realize the guitarists break off from 16th's and interesting rhythms almost every 8th measure.
What ever, it doesn't really matter anyone, almost every step in this pack is very fun.

Thanks for actual critiscm on the pack. I think you're the first person who decided to get the pack and give actual criticism rather than flame without the pack and keep flaming without the pack and continue flaming up to this
day without the pack. But ****tards never learn so.. anyways.
I'll agree with you for the most part on your comments. Solos are definately my forte with the DF songs I found! Buut, as far as overusing the 16 note streams, well for the most part I tried to not do that becuase I knew spamming it for the whole song would get even more flaming than I already have, but I tried to only stream when needed. There are a few times, i.e. Flame of Youth, where I did stream after the intro where there's definately a different guitar pattern, but I only did that becuase later on when that guitar pattern repeats, I don't do stream, but instead follow that. Body Breakdown, ehh.. I dunno, the bass solo was confusing me
but other than that it's good. And i'd agree that DoB is definately one of my better sims if not best sims in that pack and i've had several people agree with that as well. But thanks again for the good comments, i'm still improving and i'm sure i'll get better. Afterall i've only been playing 3 months and I think after the DF pack am up to around 48 total stepcharts.
For the future atleast, you mentioned the jazz pack, we'll see how that goes and if that doesn't get anywhere, then i'll keep doing singles for the SMGroove KB pack (already got a few submissions in) and maybe think up another idea.
Thanks again for the criticism, it's nice to not see that this isn't JUST an IMM Is Back/Amex Flame-Fest Board.
