John11 isn't well known? He's on the top 15, and atleast on the official smo forums is popular. Also, Melonman67 has made numerous very good sims, 1 in KoF and a few other DF sims, along with a bunch of other excellent sims. *cough eruption* But I guess unless it's not Zagh or Exige we're all nobodies.. Sorry everyone, we all suck.

I doubt you have read all 3000+ of my posts, so don't talk crap.
Hell you're just annoyed because so many people hate your sims, oh and I have tried them, and I hated them.

The fact that you have to say that you havn't read all of my posts (and it's THAT hard to find a nice post from you) isn't too reassuring. Also, what "sims" of mine have you played? If they arn't from this pack they're not my good work.

Learn how to not generalise.

Also, people may stop generalizing you if you stop generalizing my sim charts. Seriously, ****ing hippocrit. Play my good sims.

Yes. I'm not going to download a large pack just for one sim though.

I don't see why people are bashing it without downloading. I mean if you've never played the pack before, how can you say it sucks?

I understand if you truly don't think they're good steps, but if you haven't even played it how can you call it horrible based on the fact that someone who may have made a bad step before did songs for a pack?

Idk, maybe all I care about is fun factor, but IMO a stepfile isn't bad unless it's a giant stream, or it's offbeat. I guess that's just my opinion though.

I do think to many of the users standards for steps here are way too high. It's getting ridiculous. I mean, just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone doesn't like it, right?

We never said it sucks. We just don't want to waste time/download space if we don't know anything about it. Especially since I already have most of those files, and I don't like too many DF songs out there.

That's why we're saying he should check with someone that is a good simfile maker because it gets really annoying sorting out through the garbage.

It is hard to make a good file. Even so, most files out there are offbeat/nothing but stream/repetitive. If a file is not any of those, then it is at least decent file.

I guess I never really thought about Download space since I have a very large HD. It doesn't really take me a lot of time either, but I definitely see your point for people in different situations.

I guess it was kinda hitting a nerve, due to the fact that everyone bashed the hell out of my file, when it wasn't offbeat, streamy, and wasn't really that repetitive. It actually wasn't all that bad.

I understand what you are saying though, It definitely would be easier for everyone if it got checked out by someone like Blurk.

I admit that it was a good attempt, but I would say the file is bad simply because you stepped jacks that weren't there and quads when the file didn't really call for them. I guess that would fall under offbeat.
If you took them out it would probably be decent.

Amount of downloads is not relevant to how good a simfile is.

Like I already said, I wasn't ever bashing your pack. What I said was that I was not going to download an entire pack from a simfile author I don't even know because I would probably end up deleting them all again anyway.
