    DDR Mario Mix: Hard Mode

The premise is simple: Take files from here

And make them as hard as possible. Pad and keyboard steps preferably.

I've already got Rendezvous on Ice covered (which I'll finish proper when I have the motivation), you're all welcome to take a stab at any other song. (And no cd title, credit yourself in a readme)

Bonus points to anyone who can make Bowser's Castle a 10+ footer without BSing. And check the sync of the song when re-stepping it, I remember one or two of them being a little off.

    WHATS BEEN DOEN

Always Smiling: Actually, I think this could be a lot better now.
Bowser's Castle: Haven't liked any so far. I've been making my own, BUT DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU. Bowser's Castle needs to be epic, if you think you can do it do it.
    Blooper Bop: Perfect.
Boo Boogie: Perfect, waiting on Z3r to submit an oni (if he does) but the heavy is very good quality.
Garden Boogie: Good, although I'm interested in a keyboard edit for this one.
Jump Jump Jump: Not sure about this one. It doesn't make me feel the music.
Ms Mows Song: Did this one, it's alright but there isn't anything special you can do with the song as far as I can tell.
    Piroli: Not satisfied.
Rendezvous on Ice: Perfect, because I made it. <.< >.> <.<
Underground Mozart: Perfect, fiddled around a bit first though.
Up Down Left and Right: Could perhaps be better but will be included in the pack if no one else submits.
    Where's the Exit: Not satisfied.

If haven't got one I said 'perfect' to yet for a song, you can try stepping it yourself. Best stepchart for every song makes it in.

I'd prefer it in the following format:

Beginner-Standard: Paddable (If you wish to include them)
    Heavy: Paddable but hard
Oni: Either very hard to pad or a keyboard file
    Edit: Hard as possible

I'll take Blooper Bop. Also, making this a pack perhaps?

        I'll download it when it's not 1am.

Very good pack idea though. The original steps are so damn easy.

Nevermind, not in the mood to deal with syncing problems.

Re: DDR Mario Mix: Hard Mode

Yes, I plan to make this a pack. (I also made a thread for this on bemanistyle's forum, by the way)

Oh, and pad steps are encouraged more then keyboard steps...no, wait. Paddable steps are mandatory, please. After all, the people who complained mario mix was too easy play pad, don't want to skip past them entirely.

Brb, going to finish rendezvous on ice...

So basically we're bringing Mario Mix up to par with the other DDR games?

So far bemanistyle.com's residents have sent me three simfiles; unfortunately, none are quite up to par yet.

You guys won't let me down, right?

Doing a padfile is actually pretty fun. I have to be much more aware of the patterns I'm putting down- 4268 for example. So far, mine's coming along well... halfway through the padfile, and I'll start the keyboard steps when that's done.

EDIT: Maybe update your first topic with a list of the songs, and which one's have been done / called xD

I'm new, but I'm going to try Garden Boogie.

                              Try being the key word.
