should note that there are a couple of tech errors in ._pulse that should be detectable in x0.5

tip: don't step for solo unless you actually play solo. that's the only way you'll know what are really dumb patterns

but then again, if you're just starting out, everything is really dumb so... probably take that with a pinch of salt
