Intuitive BPM change/stop combinations that are sight-readable are totally acceptable, but we're willing to accept files that have BPM changes/stops in less convenient areas if they are able to be learned without an extreme amount of difficulty. Try to keep a sensible BPM range for your chart so that it's readable at a speedmod that isn't really low, when possible.

"...without an extreme amount of time." Difficulty itself is based on perspective too much but I think you meant time anyways. Though I can easily give the example (and argument) of learning songs like Face Is and Jai within a few plays. Again, that was from just tossing those songs into my iTunes and familiarizing myself with the song which made sense with the steps/pauses so it's probably not the same of saying those were fairly "easy" to know.

But if this is a "project" then I would assume some very difficult songs would be in here, with low sense of possibility on the judges end. I suggest you post some examples of what's easy, medium, and hard to give a vivid perspective. Silikon being something on the what-not-to-do side etc. and L.A. Evolved being on the what-to-do side.

Well I gave a file to JS because there was a troublesome spot, but I haven't heard from him since. The file is otherwise essentially complete.

Totally understandable, my schedule has been a bit crazy lately myself. I'm in no rush, I'd rather take the time and have this come out good than just try to throw it together carelessly. I just wanted to give it a lil bump to remind everyone.

Still working on mine, been a crazy week with a heavy work schedule. I organized my schedule to go around my school schedule for the rest of the semester, so I'll have down time between classes to chill and perhaps work on my file. I really do want to get something done for this. >__<

Does anyone know an easy way to add in mods without having to redo the whole rest of the chart, if you've already charted after that point? I can't seem to find a good way (hence why there isn't much going on in other portions so far, because I didn't start it out as an xmod chart.

Yeah, I actually have a similar sort of issue, in which I need to tweak one thing in the middle of a file, but am afraid it'd affect the rest of the file and I have to redo the syncings of everything else thereafter. Can one tweak a bpm, negative bpm, or stop without redoing the rest of the file's syncing?

Not if the tweak falls on changing the sync on anything more than a 4th note.
