A pro would be one of the very best, somebody who can FC nearly every song with no problems. Everybody else is anywhere from "really good" to "bad".

If you can FC most 12's in FFR without much mashing (and maybe both RATO and Death Piano), I already consider that a "master" at FFR. FC'ing Death piano and/or RATO without much mashing I consider top tier since that's AlexDest, leonid, Halogen, and such and it's guaranteed top ten at this current time.

I'd consider a "pro" as someone who can get the Otaku Speedvibe [oni] token. Those who can't but are close I consider potential pros, I guess. Players that have trouble FC'ing VC files and above I consider FFR rookie, and under is novice. Doesn't sound nearly as harsh as "bad player", lol.

Darn, not quite a master. I always get a few misses when I don't mash any of the song. Excluding death piano and rato.

Well then again FFR is combo based scoring, so I based my interpretations off of that (FC'ing MOST of the harder files). If you can do most of the file without mashing but get a couple misses, you're a "master" in stepmania terms.

Honestly the only way I can even call someone a horrible player is if they can't even pass difficulty level 5 songs or under LMFAO

FFRs combo based scoring is pretty retarded. I can get around 3 goods on TOML 1.2 rate and can't get a good score on any ffr fgo because of 1-4 misses.

Edit: How can you not "pass" a song on ffr other then the vROFL wall of death? You can just mindlessly mash your keyboard and pass. You can probably pass fgo's with your eyes closed by just jump trilling to 16ths whenever you here music.
