Any reason to go beyond c400

Just wondering what speeds should I train at or it's all personal preference?

It's all preference, but you should at least try out faster speeds to see if you like em or not. Right now I've been playing at c700.

I prefer about 525. Any faster and I feel like I'm panic-stabbing keys.

        I play any cmods from 1 to 1000. But I prefer C688.

I use to play c2000 with boomerang, but boomerang makes it easier to speed-read so it doesn't count lol

If you are just starting off over C400, i recommend you don't go Ego crazy and say "I can do C700 already." Cause chances are, you can't. Especially if you're used to C400. Try starting off at maybe +/- C500. If you dont like it, then change it accordingly.

I use C550 myself, since I play windowed mode and i like to see the arrows for at least more than 1/10th of a second.

I use windowed mode and c700.

A freind of mine uses c200, all the time. And he can AA Brace yourself constantly. It's like whoamg.

I use C600. Anything faster I feel like it's really hard to read the different kind's of patterns and I'm just, as mentioned before, "panic-stabbing" the keys.

I play windowed c600, people like speed mods because they don't listen to the song they just hit the arrows. it's a lot easier for your eyes

i did C400. Then i did C500 for about 5 songs. then tried C600. It was tricky. But was very easy to PA that way. C700 was too much though. SO i use C650.

Just start at C400 and work up about 15-30 BPM at a time. Right now I'm at C650 fullscreen.
                          hehe

I use C450, or C500 for songs which arrows go faster than 1/16th at 225bpm. (the minimal half)
So playing with quite low Cxxx speed mod as I do can be an inconvenient for very fast and insane songs (ex: death reveals) but doesn't change your accuracy and speed skill. (for example: I AAA stratofortress standard with 13 perfects) and even if I (and maybe you) can't play with much high Cxxx speed, I'm (and maybe you are) quite good at playing songs with no mod, in x1 (AA quasar, clear really speedy songs...)

I use windowed mode with C500. I'll probably try a faster speed sooner or later.
