After playing SM excessively does anybody notice the fingers you play with hurt at the tips, and your nail like speperates into two? Or is this just some strange thing with me . That's why I started playing on my pad.

I just get a tingling feeling, that's all. You get used to it for harder songs after awhile. Normally my right wrist starts to cramp up.

The joints in my fingers are messed up. I have bad joints to begin with, so they would probably crap out eventually with all the typing I do anyway, but it's dissappointing, becuase the pain in my joints makes playing difficult sometimes.

I've never had anything like what you described, except sometimes while playing index, my tips do start to hurt.

I'm talking about. The skin on your finger tips hurt for days. And the start bleeding if you put pressure on it. It hurts man! Which is the main reason i started playing pad on SM a lot. Also why i need a new converter :P. maybe i'll post a pic later if you wanna see

Holy crap how hard do you push the buttons. I've never hurt myself playing sm ever Your finger nail split in two?! Maybe you shouldn't hit the buttons has hard.

You don't have to press the buttons that hard... well, unless you have a REALLY bad keyboard.

I think my skin just got probs. Also could be, the humidifier is broken in my house.

I've had times in my past when I played so much the nail started to come off the finger a little bit up at the tips, so I had to take a break >_<... and I've had the nail splitting thing b4 as well... ick... lol... but that hasn't happened to me in like forever... the only thing that happens is my wrists get tired/over-worked sometimes...

OLOL I BROKE A NAIL PLAYING SM ONCE LYEK OMYGAWD... Okay...time to get serious, although I did break a nail once...hah.

Umm I don't think it has anything to do with it...if you skin is like bleeding when you put pressure on it, it's most likely just really dry. Try getting some lotion or cream, I recommend Jergens. hah.

Try playing onehanded. My forearm is so ridiculously muscle-y. It's actually pretty funny, because it looks like I masturbate all the time, which just isn't true (eb, if you see this post, don't say a word)...
