Re: DDReamStudio - Official Guide
check your email.
to all: it's been a long time since I've done anything with ddream. It's great how many of your are now masters of the program and have made tutorials and shared knowledge of it (I've searched the forum so I know a little of what's been done in the past few years). If anyone has any questions, you know where to find me.I designed ddreamstudio.

Re: DDReamStudio - Official Guide
your program truly has revolutionized the way simfiles are created - I refuse to make charts without at least using DDream to acquire a proper sync/offset now.
You have a lot to be proud of.Comment

Re: DDReamStudio - Official Guide
Thanks TC Halogen and everyone.
Couple things I've discovered (this is important)
1. If you are downloading Beta 6 from the above link (maybe even beta 5, verification needed), be sure to set the permissions of the extracted folder *NOT to be "read only"* or else you will not be able to backup all saves. To enable backup of all saves, go to Options and check the box.
2. If ddream crashes when you press ctrl+alt+left to slow down the music, most likely it is because you are using an Intel graphics card and that is the shortcut to rotate the screen. Simply go to the display driver software and disable its keyboard shortcuts.I designed ddreamstudio.

Re: DDReamStudio - Official Guide
For point 1: I redownloaded the mirrored version of beta 6 just to test it and the permission was "read and write"... I can't see the issue at all. Is this because of the computer I'm currently using? Thanks TC Halogen and everyone.

Re: DDReamStudio - Official Guide
point 1: when i unzipped it onto my computer the permissions were somehow read only. Guess it depends on the computer.

Re: DDReamStudio - Official Guide
youre welcome.
MarioNintendo/All: - Any way to get all the tutorial videos ever made about ddream linked on here? I have a nearly complete list of youtube links.
edit: downloaded the beta 6 again, unzipped, and the unzipped folder is still read-only.

Re: DDReamStudio - Official Guide
Well the only video I know about is this one:
It was the one featured on your site and I found it very informative.
There was also who_cares973's two part tutorial (which wasn't helpful to me, but might be to others):
For the rest, you might have to send the list. I'll put it in the OP as well. I tried searching your favorites on your Youtube channel as you suggested on the archived site, but I couldn't find anything! I might as well try to do a video tutorial myself, but I'm not sure it'll really happen xPLast edited by MarioNintendo; 04-11-2012, 03:18 PM.Comment

...no plans to write another line of ddream code myself.

Re: DDReamStudio - Official Guide
think you could make the code available so other people might try to improve upon it?
