A lot of people seem to have many different views on what exactly IS a game and what is not. I think, what should be added to this sticky, Guido, is a clear and concise definition of what YOU believe is a game, and what is not. Simply stating something isn't a game does not help prevent the production of crud games, giving us some idea of what is expected would most likely aid people in that regard. Also, since you have deemed almost half of the posts in here NOT a game, perhaps giving us an example of a GOOD game would also aid in the production of fun forum games. Just some suggestions.

A game would be a (perferably simple) idea that creates a fun and entertaining forum environment.

Some element of competition or wit is required for games. "Next person post this" threads typically don't fly. "Alphabet by pictures", though, required some wit to play, so it was interesting enough, despite not being a game.

Word World War is a damn fine example of a good game. It's competitive and it requires some thought. We need more games like that.

I agree, it makes you think, not good for everyone; though. I like Empire because it's complex enough to A) Be interesting and B) Require some thought, without taking an excess (from me, others may love Word World War.)

This is not a chat room guys. And if you want to post as much as you want you need to go to the Post Milget Get threads and post there on a PMS accoutn.

Yeah, if you wanna postwhore then post in 1milget, you might even earn some money. Just be sure to use a PMS account or you will be breaking forum rules and will have your posts deleted if caught. You may even be banned if you continue posting there without one after being warned. If you're not posting in 1milget then your post should be either funny, interesting, or informative. As far as game threads go, if the thread is either one of those then it's ok if it requires some thought.

Not for normal accounts. The best way to get some post counts +1, in my opinion, are Newbie Boards, Brag Board and Game Threads. Douple-Posting is only allowed in the milget thread and you have to use a PMS account to post there.
