    expanding difficulty levels

so now the maximum level is 12. There are level 12ths like frictional nevada or ketsarku mozgalom. And then there are level twelves like reluctantly excepting temperary overexaustion, counter clockwise chant pattern, death piano, eclipse (solar) and here we go.

I'm proposing the maximum level be moved up to 20 or something like that. levels 12-20 can still all be called fgo but now we have a distinction between a AAAable fgo and a mash fest like dp.

I support this idea, only, maybe not have them go up to 20...

But a distinction between these levels is needed.

13 would be fine. Only a couple of song levels would have the honor of being rated that hard. 14+ is too much.

I think it should go further than 13 because there is such a huge disparity of level in fgos.

So...songs like Reality, Lolo and Frictional Nevada would be 12's.

The current upper-end Guru's like uhm...*Thinks* Eclipse and Almost there..? would be 13's.

And any of the impossible ones like Death Piano or This new RATO one, would be 14, or do you think there should be even more discrimination than that?

shuffling the mash-fgos onto 13 makes sense

revo*, rato, dp, eclipse {solar}, almost there, here we go

                    Re: expanding difficulty levels

I suggest a totally new system (which would require a lot of work to make, considering how many songs we have here on FFR) of difficulty rating, such as one that rates the ranges of difficulty within difficulties... but other than that, there's no point in doing this.

(edit): Only unless you want it up to a 13, to give the credit of how hard the song is... but other than that, refer to what I previously stated.

                        there's already a 1-99 system that jx does. that's better than 20.

Oh... No need for this thread then, right?

The only thing seems to be wanted really is the difficulty 13.

I think, like most of the others that the difficulty system should be raised but not by much.

                            13 or 14 max

Again, the existing thread ranks songs on a 1-99 range scale. It is more precise, and subject to ongoing discussion and modification to maintain its accuracy.
