New Speed Adjuster

I might be the only one, but the speed mods that we are given are sometimes not good. I think 1.75x is too fast, and 1.5 is too slow. So I came up with a speed adjuster.


Instead of those few speeds, there would be a speed button which you would click.


This pops up, and you can click and drag the big knob to certain speeds. There would be info on certain speeds, like 1.5x to 2.0x saying "For adept and good players"

This will evolve in time. Thoughts?

Support, but I'm not sure about the info. I know people who play on 1.50, 1.75, and 2.00 but suck. badly.

Not a completly horrible thread.

Might be a bit of overkill. Maybe. Alot of work I assume with little reward IMO.

I don't think a speed adjuster would work; it seems as though it would take too much time, and work, to implement. Although, I think it COULD work, depending on if Synth wants to strip the R2 speed mod coding, and slap it into R1. Otherwise, speedmods would work better in the current situation.

It seems like this may not be possible.... because FFR runs on 30 frames per second. The current speed mods may be the smallest set of increments that can be achieved.

But, if that's not the case, I don't see why this isn't a good idea, I support it.

By that, I meant "implement speed adjuster in a R2 sort of way". I'm not good at explaining things.

it'll likely be this way for 3rd style... hopefully.

in the mean time, if 1.5 no cut is not fast enough, and 1.75 is too fast... use 1.5 and a little bit of cut.

This would be alright if the combo wasn't in the way.

IIRC, wasn't this how Synth wanted to do the speed mods in the first place?

Either way, I'd love to have in between speed mods.

Plus, I have no luck at screen cutting, doesn't work for me.
