          Re: FFR-MMORPG

This suggestion is right in there with the "Let's go completely ridiculous and overboard with characters" suggestion. This is not something worth the time of the admin staff to work on, given all the other projects and issues underway, however, if someone were to say "Hey look at this game concept I made, do I have your permission to use FFR stuff to complete it" They'd probably consider it, heck if it is really good, maybe they'd buy it off you *grin*

The very complex and large-scale ideas that people come up with tend to overestimate how quick and easy implementation would be, and overestimate how much free time the admin staff (which isn't very many people really) have for ideas that are largely adding a cosmetic shell to existing gameplay.

            Re: FFR-MMORPG

well as i said iDanceDance is under construction and the 2 coders are neding help, im convincing the owner to take the idea and present it to synth or who ever else codes for FFR and see if they can help.... If they could this MMO could actually be quite popular with tournements and rewards and stuff... like FFR but with more of a twist...

and aswell there can be mp levels in it too... mp levels can be the actuall levels, easy and starts to get harder and harder.... It's an idea people, no need to spam with "Ew. No." or flaming this thread.... if you read the first post you would clearly read that ITS AN IDEA!!!!

god... CAN'T ANY OF YOU PEOPLE READ THESE DAYS!!??!?!?!

if you dont think its a good idea DONT BOTHER POSTING!!!

This seems like a decent idea, but you have to take in to account the amount of bandwith and stuff such a large update would make, also how would you know some two hander doesnt join into one hander world?

im giving this a +.5 support.

I like FFR for what it is, a music timing game. If I wanted to play an MMORPG, I would have already played one, and I haven't yet. If this became an MMORPG, I might quit the next day.

I've wondered this about FFR as it is though, lol

                    Re: FFR-MMORPG

Your idea is O.K. to some extent. Some parts would have to be revised before I would agree. For example, I wouldn't enjoy the 2-D part though because the detail is below "LOW" (I say this because you speak of Zelda and Pokémon from GAMEBOY games, which means that the pixels are low in # and low in detail.). Hopefully it's at least changed for it to be zoomed in by whatever your screen can take up. Maybe it should run like "gaia" or something. Just don't suggest it to make the characters turn 90ş.

Moving on.. You mentioned that there are "towns". I do not enjoy this concept because it's too spread out and unfocused. This should be focused into one area like a city perhaps, or perhaps maybe 1 building with a set of floors. For example: Below Floor 1 would be a general chat, Floor 1 would be informational help, Floor 2 would be Multiplayer Games, and Floor 3 can be shop/trade. For 1-P, you can walk outside the building and walk to the house across from it to play there. Possibly you could even decorate that house, invite friends to display, deal with attained items, but more importantly play 1-P mode in there.

For communications, I agree with it ˝-wise, but it would be better if there was a chat box at the bottom of the page.

EDIT: As I start pointing-out and suggesting more I'm actually starting to like this idea myself.

Think about it? You could start out a character, branching off of irishkights characters idea
(Just a point out here) I wouldn't say that this is a branch off my suggestion. Branching off is going into more detail of what was presented before. I'd say that this suggestion is more of a base or tree whilst compared to mine making mine look like a branch.

Sadly I'd have to agree with devonin because I sent tass a pm of my suggestion and support amounts more than two weeks ago(200+), and he did not respond to it, and probably will never respond to it. This doesn't mean that I haven't gave up, it just means that I'll have to send a pm to a different Game admin to verify if it's even acceptable. My suggestion at a broad perspective can conclude that it is very simplistic whilst compared to yours, and if Tass doesn't write back/notice on 200+ supports on mine, I don't think he will for you if you're trying to get admin attention. Maybe tassel is trying to avoid these things. I've seen synth in my thread before, but he never said anything at the time (Which was when I had maybe under 100 supports.).

Now about iDanceDance, I reviewed it and found it very impressive. Hopefully these guys will know what to do with all the stuff they have/intended on making because all this stuff that I read related to: buildings, characters, etc. and I didn't really see much of the Arrow/Sync/Format of the DDR part of the game. I don't know.. Maybe I read it wrong, but this was how I interpreted their info. Anyways, they have 2 people working on it and already figured that it'd take a long while. Too much coding I guess, and there's only one or a few admins here that can code flash, but code THAT much? I don't know..

P.S. this post turned out to be longer than I proposed.
