    FFR-MMORPG

I just thought of something. It sort of spurted from Video chat, and a talk with SarahxJane (I wanted her to download Ragnarok so we could have another online interactive.....) RIGHT at that point I thought. "HEY! Why not have an RPG function on the MP of FFR?"
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Think about it? You could start out a character, branching off of irishkights characters idea, pick it's skin colour body looks etc.... and then as irish says buy cloths, accessories and such! You would then enter the game at the chosen town (Depending on your style chosen, More on this farther down.)

    It would be awesome!
    Heres the general idea.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Game Play
There would be no fighting, as most MMORPGs have. It would very similar to the concept of Pokemon. Adventure of exploration with the addition of duals/battles. Where the FFR play map appears, you pick an available song, and duke it out. There would obviously be a penalty for loosing, but there would also be training grounds, and the original FFR game itself. :P
    ...

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Graphics
The Graphics would have to be simple. I'm not sure how much work it would take but it would probably be a format like Pokemon, or Zelda. (Game Boy.)

    FFR The Game
    -Open FFR 3rd Style.
    -Clicks "World" button.

    The World

    Character Creation/Selection
    -Create character.
-Chooses gender, skin colour, hair colour and style, eyes, basic cloths... etc... names character
-Chooses style (One Hand or Two Hands) (Perhaps these can be extended into their deeper categories.
    Home Town
-Character arrives in one of ## towns (Depending on what style you chose.)
-Characters: name, level [Overall or Average rank], guild [If in one] is shown above their head.
    -Moves around (4-8 directions)
    -Chats (appears above head.)
-Duals (Plays FFR game with enemy if they accept.) Perhaps different difficulties would be available depending on the area.
    Shops
    -Buy cloths at one
    -Buy accessories at others

    etc.........

    Advancing:
When you have completed a certain number of levels or achived a certain number of FCs you can challenge a skill token. When you get skill tokens you can access new areas.
    Say...
    One Handed
    Home Town: 0 Tokens
    Level 2 Town: 2 Tokens
    Level 3 Town: 5 Tokens
    Level 4 Town: 10 Tokens
    Level 5 Town: 20 Tokens
    Etc.....

    Two Handed
    Home Town: 0 Tokens
    Level 2 Town: 5 Tokens
    Level 3 Town: 10 Tokens
    Level 4 Town: 20 Tokens
    Level 5 Town: 30 Tokens
    Etc.....

It doesn't necessarily have to be separated into One and Two hands.

If people like this idea I will advance it.

It's an interesting concept, but mostly like taking our lives on the game (FFR) and making it an MMORPG.
I think this has some potential if we can get it programed. Like the idea, it's very original.

We can't recognize whether players are actually one-handed or two-handed.

It doesn't nessesarily have to be exactly as I said. We can find other ways to organize userbase.

Sorry to burst your bubble but a community that I am respected on has thought of this, and is actually making a version of this, the main creator is actually finished with a small basis idea, but is using a source code from the natorious, StepMania and is calling the game: iDance Dance

But ill give you a like: iDance Dance link its a great idea, and they are making it a 3D world and stuff, gonna be awesome, but only 2 people are working on codes so it will take ages =/

P.S yes I said i am respected on there, My names I FatHobo I, I am a forum mod.

That iDanceDance is pretty cool. But its WAY more detailed then this would be.
                    This would be a 2D 4 - 8 directional game.

well as an mmorpg go's, you walk around, level, talk with people and so on, making the mmo and the rpg part so what your saying is:

Its an MMORPG, but not an MMORPG?

your confusing me, if its an MMORPG you gotta have what iDanceDance has, plus more, anti hack, so on, the more basic, means the more time you will spend on the anti hack than the game itself, trust me, I have been part of a game production before, it aint pretty...

                        Your "iDanceDance" is in 3D.
FFR-MMORPG would be in 2D. (But not a side Scroller) It would remind you of Zelda or Pokemon.

                          i have a good add.
as you level up you get new moves.
when you're fighting monsters in the wild (if there are some) you could use those moves by pressing certain button combos.
                          like it?

If I was allowed to be a boss character in a FFR MMORPG then I would say sweet, otherwise no.

                              Ragnarok 2 open beta ftw.
As cool as it would be, the FFR MMORPG, I feel that it would be unused by many, along with being quite difficult to code. We have MP levels...and you can choose a character...
There couldn't be too much change in game play, for the non-supporters would pitch a fit. Still a good, well thought out idea.
