I hate to bump an old topic, but this particular bug is now happening to me.
I would venture to say that it has something to do with my computer, as the issue seems to have cropped up after purchasing my new motherboard about a week ago. Up until I replaced the mobo, I could play on all engines in a browser, and played r3 as standalone. Now, today, I decided to start playing some more, and I cannot get past "Loading, 0%" on the r3 engine, browser or standalone. Velocity and Legacy work fine.
I have tried pretty much all of the suggestions listed above, and there has not been any change.
I suppose it's not too big a deal, as I can play on the others, but I would like to eventually get back on to r3 and make a couple queues.
Double post because one or two more issues not really worth making another thread for -
1. I still can't play r^3 standalone or in browser
2. I now have the same issues as this person did (does?) regarding the Velocity engine - http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...45&postcount=1 - which also exists for me now in the Legacy engine. I have the same issue on IE as I do on FF; none of the engines save my settings.
I have updated Flash, cleared caches, cleaned histories, etc.
I just downloaded Chrome on a whim to give it a try. And now r^3 works in THAT browser. But not in FF or IE. And I still can't get a Flash window to open up so that I can play standalone. This has to be some sort of compatibility issue, but I have no idea how I can fix it.
So I guess if I want to play FFR I'll just have to load chrome every time
