This was not meant as a "lets turn this team around and be competitive" thing, and it does not have to be a permanent rivalry, it just seemed like a fun idea for an event. Even if it did turn into a rivalry that is different than being enemies. It is not as if we are declaring war on Team Blaze or anything and friendly rivalry often strengthens relations rather than pushes them apart. Often rivals are best friends in fact.

I agree with not wanting to hear trash talking. There should be no trash talking whether this happens or not, but that should go without saying.

As megamon and Findarian pointed out, no one is being forced to join. We would keep it in a separate thread so people would not even have to see it if they do not want to.

In any case I would be sad if anyone left the team because of this. That is not what I wanted to accomplish by suggesting it at all.

If anyone is wanting to quit a team because of rivalry, then it's not like we can stop them. I think more would enjoy a bit of competition rather than a lack of it. Don't be down on yourself because 100% of people don't like what you suggested. That almost never happens >.<

Team Pony isn't competitive in the sense that you don't need to be competitive or pass some rigorous tests to be a part of Team Pony, which isn't true of some of the other teams. We are a more inclusive team.

Team Blaze has been talking about competition a lot recently, and I noticed there were a few on Team Pony who also wanted some sort of competition, hence the thread for discussion of a possible friendly competition between the two teams.

For those who don't want to participate in a competition, that's fine. And it isn't even for-sure there will be a competition yet -- rather we're discussing it. If not enough people want to do it then obviously it's not happening.

I think if anyone starts trash talking their opponents, or if things just start getting too out of hand, shame on whoever does that. If we have a competition, I expect everyone to be on their best behavior and to be good sports about it if they choose to participate.

In fact, if you really don't want the competition, go ahead and state as much in the competition discussion thread. Let us know why you're against it or/etc... and if you would prefer any other team-building events instead. As long as it's relevant to the topic (and not wanting a competition to take place is relevant), feel free to discuss as much.

Welp, time to dump my daily Tournament Update (Because no one updated their scores yesterday...) >.>

It is now Day 6 of Round 6, as we wrap up Day 5 of Round 6. Surprising some people have made an improvement, but most others I think are still sticking to their word of not improving. At least we can get to watch the D6 players battle it out for a trophy. :3 No one was made to last forever in this tournament, except for the people who end up in first place. guys off topic, how do you people keep up the playing of ffr? I am so utterly and completely bored with it. I have been playing it for 5-6 years and almost feel done with it, my skill issn't improving, I am getting more pissed of with it it's just getting old for me I guess. surely any of you who've been here long must have had something similar. because I actually really don't WANT to quit.

or you could also try switching to stepmania and play files that are challenging and new to you

you switch off games here and there and then eventually come back to them in the future. I'm playing Oblivion right now, but I already beat it and Skyrim. Having lots of fun playing it on hard mode.

(Also lol, I haven't been playing FFR for 5-6 years, the website went down for like 4 years and I didn't even touch it during that time. Heck, I didn't even know that it went down until I decided to take a look back at it and saw it up after it went down.)

Try playing harder packs on Stepmania. (or play Thirdstyle, honestly that's where I got the majority of my skill believe it or not.) Also really push yourself like as if it's a workout, usually pays off if you do it enough and not super often. That or just stop playing for a while altogether.

Well the problem with that is there is a ton of pony vectors, but not a whole lot of pokemon vectors. I like to use vectors because they come pre-transparent, (which saves a lot of time trying to retain image quality,) and they can be shaped and formed into any size without worry of quality, which is excellent for mixing pictures together. Fusing vectors together though, that's something I've got no experience in, and I'm having a hard time trying to find a proper minun vector as it is. ;s I would have liked Scootaloo and Latios together, but it was impossible because there wasn't a good Latios vector.

He has some nice pokemon and pony mix vectors for use with signatures, but he's very limited, and I can't seem to find anything relatively close to that kind of work :s
