The message is clear but what do you intend people to do? You can't tell people not to troll. As long as people are behind their monitors, they will do, say, and act whatever they feel like at their own expense.

And I know your intentions are good OP, but lets be realistic; as long as you're on the internet, you risk being flamed, internet bullied, or harassed. The only solutions that come to mind to solve these problems is if each troller had an epiphany of some sort, or the moderators decide to start handing out warnings and do temporary bans on people who decide not to behave.

I've been staying out of this thread just for this sole purpose. I could name names, but it does happen. You guys need to look harder.

I love you, but if we have to LOOK HARDER to find the trolling, it's obviously not happening much. I'm with OWA on this, I thought the trolling was getting a massive slow down.

The FFR community is a lot better than many others I've seen. I haven't been around too much to notice what kind of trolling goes on around here, though. I think we've got it good on FFR.

Never. Elitism basically ruins the fun of the game and I don't really see people bragging about having avrank 1.

News flash to everyone, just because you are good, does not mean you are the only player who uses this game. I played back when people actually HELPED beginners, not shunned them.

If someone gives me a PM, I'll answer back. I even received a PM from someone asking me to play 3020 for them to unlock Metro and I respectfully explained why the requirement is the way it is and politely said no. I think the problem is that the "beginners" you talk about feel intimidated to speak to the top players.

I have seen everything from people ignoring newbies completely, to people telling newbies to gtfo. This is starting to make me sick, this used to be a place where everyone could enjoy good games and good music together, now it is just like high school, and the #1 ranks are the "popular kids".

I haven't really been seeing this happen.

you deserve just as much respect as anyone. I may not be famous, or the best, but I will personally NOT stand for this, and I guarantee there are plenty of veterans who agree and who have not shown themselves yet.

Just like how members deserve to have a voice and deserve respect for being a part of the community even if they aren't an admin or whatever. I don't really see the point of this thread. Elitism should definitely be reduced and I agree with that, but this thread sort of sounded hostile with no clear purpose.
