I read what Ben said and I completely agree with it. Yesterday has gotten way out of hand and bans were handed out as a result. The chat, like Zak mentioned, was nuked pretty bad. I don't like the idea of banning people from the team, but it had to be done. Pregs you aren't banned, my apologies for that since I took what you said the wrong way.

Me and Ben made the team:
-to foster a friendly community on FFR
-to build good inter-team relationships with other teams in an effort to have inter-team events.

The creation of the team wasn't made to create any sort of drama. I'll talk with Ben and the mods of the team to see what can be done in the future to prevent a issue like this from happening again.

The chat is on a aproval basis until further notice. This means that if you want to join the chat you must wait until Me or any other of the chat mods let you in.

Since the drama, the Team Blaze chat is pretty dead, it was nuked really hard.

it was getting quiet on the weekend i noticed too.
I also never noticed any probs in chat w/ people before either. maybe i'm just not on at the right times...

The whole chat thing is a bit unorganized, dead, and corrupt at the moment. We have the team blaze chat, which is filled with non-team blaze members, and which is pretty dead at the moment as well. There is also usually more members in the group than is allowed to make a call, requiring constant kicking a lot of time, and members seem to get easily offended when they get kicked. Also, there is rumor of sub-team groups being formed; all this is doing is just separating the team. I am planning on re-working this chat system; this will most likely result in multiple chat rooms for various purposes, but with one main one to keep the majority of the conversation in one spot. I'll let you guys know when I come up with something.

Hey fellow Team Blaze members. Got some news for you guys.

First of all, I have a new chat system implemented, hopefully it'll make things productive, less frustrating, and more sociable. I'll just list the links first, followed by some guidelines/notes afterwards.

Guildlines:
-The member-only chat and the vid chat both require passwords to enter. I am too lazy to PM everyone the password (maybe I'll do it later) so please either bug me on skype (username: reuben2011) or give me a PM and I'll give you the password
-Do NOT give out the password to non-TB members. Only members on the roster are considered official TB members, this means you can't give the password to someone that said "I'd like to join Team Blaze" in this thread 10 seconds ago, their enrollment is still pending at that moment and must be approved first. Giving out a password could cause you to become temporarily banned from the chat. Repeated offenses might lead to a perma-ban from the chat, a temp-ban from the team, and in extreme cases: a perma-ban from the team.
-Please use the Team Blaze member-only chat as our central/general chat location. The other chats are for more specialized purposes.
-If you are not a member of Team Blaze but feel like chatting, go and join the public chat room. Team Blaze members, please be sure to greet non-team members in the public chat if you are online and strike up a conversation.
-The public chat will also be used to host multi-team events, so we can have friendly rivalries and good times with the other teams as well
-The video chat is for video calling. Please do not join this chat if you do not have any intentions of being in calls. We would only like people who are going to be in calls, so that way we don't have to constantly kick people.
-I am not the creator of the original skype group, so I'll have to get the creator of the skype group to do this: I plan on setting the old skype groups so that no one can type in there, but so that the group is still available if you want to reminisce on anything in the chat log xD
-Being a douche in the chat might cause you to get banned from the chat and/or the team.

This will help me keep track of team points, it'll help me determine a time most people can attend, and it'll give me a rough idea of who is participating. Even if you don't think you can make it, or even if you aren't too sure, just fill out the form anyways, you won't be penalized for not attending xD However, you will not be eligible for the event if you don't fill out the form, so it's best to just fill it out just in case you do decide you want to attend
-open to all teams
-points from all teams will be tallied, so bring that team spirit!
-credits will be awarded
-this is going to be a live event with me as your host, the event will take place in the TB Public chat (here)
-the exact time of the event will be announced later on. The date and time of the event will be based on the forms (please continue)
-everyone who signs the form will get a pm with more information later (or a link to this thread if I post the information here.) Also, if you are in Team Blaze, but are still not in the skype group(s), I'll give you the passwords as well in the PM if you fill out the form.

Just in case anyone is curious about the state of the public chats, I have put the old one on lockdown since chances are it wouldn't get any more activity anyways, I also believe that the link to join may be broken (It didn't work for me), so if anyone wants to join it just IM me on Skype (Zakvvv666) and I will let you guys in.
