Basically what I've gathered. The only reason I would consider switching is for the noteskins and the songlist sorting options. And maybe the PA counter but idk, it distracts me.
So it seems 90% of the reason people use Legacy over my engine is Lag, while people using my engine enjoy the noteskins.
I really wouldn't mind switching engines if it didn't lag so much.
But also would love to see the miss glitch fixed on the legacy engine.
Kinda thoughts on both
Legacy:
1. Used to it completely.
2. Lags less (only slightly...)
3. Less user friendly
4. Less options
5. MISS GLITCH
Velocity:
1. Cleaner layout.
2. Most likely: Cleaner code. It honestly runs smoother. Much less glitch riddled.
3. A lot more options - noteskins ect.
4. EXTREMELY user friendly. It has the PA counter, is has the Miss glitch fix, I honestly like looking at things through this engine. (I only find the score autofail not to work.)
5. Not so much not used to it, but it takes a little to adjust to this engine.
Just I guess how I look at it. After reading that you'd think I prefer Velocity, and honestly - I do. It's just lagging just enough to actually be annoying. I do admit, honestly, it's the better engine. I just need to figure out to how to minimize the lag slightly more and become accustomed to it.
