Velocity on standalone.
I would be using Legacy in-browser (my old playstyle was 1.5/screencut until about 2 months ago) but that's been way too laggy for me, had to switch to Velocity because that's the only one that doesn't lag.
I use the legacy engine for the simple reason that I have been playing on it for years before Velocity came out with his engine. It's more familiar to me, and I'm more comfortable with it...heck, I still look for songs with the genre wheel sometimes. (I do like the idea of sorting songs by file difficulty instead of by music genre, as many of the offshoot engines have done, though I can see how both methods would have their supporters and detractors.)
While the Velocity engine has a lot of bells and whistles that help with specific songs, mainly background files that demand arrows with greater visibility (I owe my LoZ AAA to that time where backgrounds were bugging out on it, as well as my 11-0-0-1 on P4U v2), in the end the Legacy engine is like pulling on an old pair of jeans for me. It's comfortable and it fits well, even if it is starting to show its age.

I use the legacy engine the most only because back when I first tried velo's engine I found it very laggy. Not sure if it's still laggy now but another reason is the fact that I can't get used to the new layout of velo's engine and so I just stuck with the legacy engine.
I absolutely love all the features on the velo engine though. I would used velo's engine more if I could get used to the layout and if it didn't lag anymore.

Hm... interesting results. Seems about 2/3 use Velo, 1/3 use Legacy engine as far as the forum-going population goes- I imagine many of those that don't visit the forums probably use legacy in-browser.
Bah this makes some things I had in mind really complicated >_<
Oh well, thanks for the responses
I use Velo's engine. Although I had used the legacy engine for 3 years (though in that time I'm including the FFR lightanddarkness mirror), I prefer the Velo engine, especially that restart button. Makes my (FFR) life much easier.
I prefer Velocity's engine because a) it rarely lags for me (primary reason) and b) the restart button and other features are handy. Legacy engine is too laggy for me to use.
While I like the features of the Velocity engine, I prefer the size and layout of the Legacy engine over it. Plus I get a slight lag in Velocity's engine. Not much, but noticeable when you are trying to AAA FMO's.
