Anyone else get MASSIVELY worse lag in the newer version?
I mean, this is the kinda shit I'm getting:


And it's only in the MP part. If I'm soloing or playing in spectator it's not that bad.

Scarlet, the lag for me was so bad that I couldn't even get past the first 100 notes on eclipse

And I wound up with something retarded like 20ish goods/averages and boos lmfao

It's confirmed. Everyone should be using v1. v2 uses a new way of updating that was experimental. It failed. v1 has minimal lag.

I hate flash and everything related to it.

Seems like a good way to celebrate 1000 post.

Also, I quit working on Flash games.

Going to get myself an iPhone and make games for that.

And an Android phone too.

Actually, the loading of every flash engines(not just MP) is slow right now. Possible general lag?

Locking chat while players are playing would also be useful to reduce lag.

We can play different songs at same time.

The invisible title thing is simply due to opening settings again after the game forced the settings to go away because song is about to start. Nothing special here, it's minor and not really changing much.

Seeing MP level would be useful because it's acting strange, but I can't check out if it's me or the game or why..

Anything else weird that happened got fixed by simply refreshing the engine.

I was lag free on both version unless people typed or FFR itself is slowing down somehow.

I haven't tested out the multiplayer yet, but perhaps the lag is due to how often data is being retrieved on the other person's score? If the data on the other person's score is being updated too frequently, it would take more power and memory to do the updates, hence the lag. Just a hypothesis, although it doesn't explain how the lag gets progressively worse.

If you're using the flash 8 standalone that's why you can't connect.

Both in my 9 standalone and in firefox won't connect.
