im on a normal xp computer. The thing is my motherboard is near the end of its life and often it removes drivers all by itself or it forgets it has them so alot of stuff dont work properly.

Can you open the folder and navigate to the FLashPlayer file see if MAC will launch it. If not I have 2 dmgs for you I am uploading.

Can you open the folder and navigate to the FLashPlayer file see if MAC will launch it. If not I have 2 dmgs for you I am uploading.

Well the flashplayer.app one is the actual standalone for MAC OSX. The other 2DMG must just be the "add-on"s for the browser. I would try dragging them straight to desktop and see if it will launch.

or you can try the good old fashioned way:

open /Home/downloads/"Flash Player.app"

You may need to rename "Flash Player" to "FlashPlayer" if the terminal gives you an error.
After rename will be something like
open /Home/downloads/FlashPlayer.app

Well, thanks for the help. :] I'm still not sure how to use the standalone yet though.... I also nearly destroyed my computer's ability to play game and videos with flash player. xD

Doesn't the standalone require I.E to have protected mode turned off? It's not even an " add to trusted site " thing. More then likely half of the people who say it won't load problem right there. As for MAC user, got no clue how to do that on MAC, you gotta get a PC darn you :P

I don't know how I played without Standalone, I can go on MP and not lag.

i figured out why standalone didnt work, my ie was using a proxy server lol. i turned it off and standalone works just fine now.
