Does everyone use standalone now or is it just something people use when having lag trouble?

I use standalone all of the time, and I'm sure most other people do too. It runs better, I would play on a standalone if I were you.

Standalone definitely helped me with my lag problem but when I got a new computer I still use/d it.

What works best for me is flash player 9.

WSCB and wargasm, have you tried downloading the standalone on my site? You also have to make sure the link to the game is correct, that might be the problem too.

Funny thing is, I just heard about it this year lol. Solved my lag problem, and answered questions I had over the years from ppls screencaps and noticing another window opened for ffr only. I remember saying to myself, "what the hell is that thing???" lol

I think I can't use it because macs have the fatal flaw of being unable to open .exe files.

wargasm that's weird. The URLs are case-sensitive, so make sure you got those right.

Sometimes you need to go into IE then Tools > Internet Options THen the "trusted Sites" tab



Add FFR and the FFR.swf to this list with "low" security settings.

If you cannot get it to open FFR after this, then you can try adjucting the "security" tab settings to Low or custom.



Warning!!!! This should only be used on sites you trust! If you lower your security settings and browse other sites you could potentially get raped by spyware. I suggest disabling Adobe Reader Autoruns. You can do this by the following:

Open Adobe reader, go to options/preferences then view the following:



AGAIN, Disable IE security settings at your own accord! I only use IE for FFR and know the basics of "safe browsing" Hope this helps

nope, no work :P. I consider myself a spart computer person and i can't figure this out. Does flash have anything to do with dx??
