As most of you know there is lots of lag when using flash player 10. Most people say because it uses up so much resources that most computers can't handle it.
Well that is somewhat true.
I have come across a process called WmiPrvSE.Exe. This process affects a lot of vista and 7 users(sometimes XP). It handles a lot of different things that I am not going to explain. Google it if you want to know.
Anyways, what happens with the process is that it sometimes takes up a lot of CPU power and causes lag in a lot of applications, including Flash Player. There are many different reasons that this problem happens and if it is happening to you, google it and try to fix it. If you are lazy, like me, you can right click the process and hit "Suspend". You can not terminate this process because it is a Windows essential.
I do not recommend keeping it on "Suspend" as it will affect many of your computer's automatic processes that start and stop on their own. I.E Suspend when playing, turn it back on after.
This has helped my lag, I recieve none now. Does this help the random arrow misses in some browsers? No.
Anyways, I hope this helps.
You can find this process is resource monitor.
As you can see, my process spikes up to around 25 and then drops down. This causes the CPU average to be around 2%. I only feel lag spikes, and it is in direct relation with this process.
Although, this process varies for every one.
Right click and hit Suspend(Resume is under it)
