Basically just play. A lot. Eventually, you will get better. You will be more consistent. After you have this consistency, start trying to AAA the easiest songs. AAAing the easier songs first lets you practice getting good PA. This will translate into AAAs on harder songs. Not directly, obviously, AAAing more difficult songs is, well, more difficult.
Just keep playing, eventually you will be able to AAA stuff. Depending on the amount you play, you can improve dramatically over a short period of time. After playing for about 8 months, I had SDG'd Vertex Beta (now that I think about it, 8 months isn't really a short time... it's just short relative to how long I've been a member, I guess.)
tldr; Play lots, when you get good PA start AAAing the easiest songs, then increase in difficulty as you get more AAAs. It's what I did.
