Ok--see now that post somewhat offends me because I spent a lot of time making a thread hoping that these cheated scores would get cleaned out so that not only my, but everybody else's scores would get clean. Obviously I'm upset about it but who are you to tell anyone when to take a break?

AJ, I love you. I mean that. No stupid internet friendship bs. It's because of something long past, but I respect you for the person you've shown me you are.

Now, I am no one to tell you to do anything. Ever. I know you've put a lot of hard work in on this, and not this alone. You've been one of the VERY few to maintain your integrity through nearly every post you make on this forum, and always try and push it forward.

Now, I wasn't saying all your hard work was/is for nothing. I'm just trying to say you shouldn't be in here writing muli-page essays on the politics of why the Administration won't wipe a few hacked scores.

It will happen. Maybe not this month, but you know damn well it *will* happen eventually. And if not, then I agree with Foxfire. It's probably the beginning of a downhill trend that FFR may not recover from. But I'm not going to base that judgment on the fact that hacked scores weren't wiped as soon as everyone would like... I'll base my judgment on how FFR is able to maintain things in the months to come.

Administration is obviously falling apart, and Synth is going to need to get new Admins/Mods before he doesn't have strong user base any more. But honestly, everything discussed so far only affects a very small section of a very large site...

Well if no one is going to do anything about it...it might as well be completely legal in the game, considering that even though people break this serious rule, nothing happens at all. It might as well say right on the site rules that hacking and other offenses that completely ruin some of the games purposes

Now that it is pretty much going to be publicized all over the site forums that you can hack the game and get no punishment for it Hacks like the FFRTrainer will resurface the web and will probably be on the computers of tons of players I'm sure once they hear about the news.

Oh, the tournaments are going to be VERY challenging now...considering the qualifications for every song will have to be a AAA with all the hackers. Not to mention also the multiplayer games as well....ugh

Are you dumb? You clearly don't recognize that FFRtrainer has been around for the longest time and that many people get their scores deleted, it just takes time. And you've clearly never ****ing heard of IP tracking someones scores, you don't know jack **** about this game and stop acting like you do.

I guess it would be too much to assume that people would read everything I say before replying to it, but whatever. I know scores aren't the end of the world, and that score hacking isn't the most important thing ever, but it does annoy me that the administration doesn't care about it happening.

There are always going to be hackers, big deal. If the site owners would be a bit more attentive to such simple matters, I wouldn't have even have bothered to say anything in the first place. It isn't the hackers that are annoying me, it is that nothing is being done about it.

Honestly I know I'm not going to get anywhere near those scores anyway...so be being a few ranks down, even if I thought being ranked down on a song was a serious issue, wouldn't do much at all. I just wish that they would just see this obvious issue and take a few seconds out of there time to fix it, that is all.

Bottom line: If I can play the game still, I guess whatever happens, happens.

And think about this before you go accusing FFR's Administration in general for not maintaining the site. Tass did everything. At least for all intents and purposes contained within this thread. Tass got sick of having to put up with the bullcrap he got every day, and never feeling appreciated. As far as I know, he's left FFR in pursuits of some kind of career in the Flash game industry. Meaning: We don't have anybody here who's exactly familiar with how to do everything Tass did. Like adding new songs, deleting scores, passing out tokens, etc. We're gonna have to wait 'til someone is able to show Synth they're capable and willing to bear that kind of responsibility before anything happens probably. And at the rate the site is headed, I don't think even Sprite- wants the position.

My bet is that devonin and NSane will both soon be our new head staff.

Maybe after that happens stuff will get taken care of. Who knows.

And yes, please remember the last 5 words you wrote. Especially when the situation is beyond your control.

I'm just frustrated with everything. I totally understand Tass moving on to something else that he loves--everyone does that.

But before he took his sudden vanishment from FFR, he could have given someone his duties to at least keep everything minimally rolling. That's one of the main things that has me upset. I mean, a new song hasn't been released in almost a month. There are plenty of files that are in the queue that can be put in the game to keep everything going. I might have motivation to keep playing or doing other little side forum projects if something started happening.
