I wanted to see if anyone picked up on the recent hacker activity before bothering to make a thread about it, although this is about vrofl, I see some of the recent hacked AAA's like "Reluctantly accepting temporary overexhaustion" and "Death Piano" have been mentioned slightly in the newer posts.

Obviously no one bothers to check in my thread since someone "wanted to see if we picked up on hacker activity". I'm done trying to watch because nothing ever happens. Why should I care about scores if the head of the site doesn't either? I'm already irritated because of something that happened today and these last few posts didn't help at all. If you have anything, post in my thread and wait for nothing to happen because it's only slightly less annoying than making a thread.

Well if no one is going to do anything about it...it might as well be completely legal in the game, considering that even though people break this serious rule, nothing happens at all. It might as well say right on the site rules that hacking and other offenses that completely ruin some of the games purposes (in this case, showing the best players of a song) are obviously fine with the site owners, so they are 100% for it. Or that is how I look at it...if the site owners let it happen...it is pretty much as crazy as saying for people to go ahead and do it.

Now that it is pretty much going to be publicized all over the site forums that you can hack the game and get no punishment for it, who knows how many people are going to start hacking the game? Probably pretty much everyone that has ever thought about it but didn't...will.

Hacks like the FFRTrainer will resurface the web and will probably be on the computers of tons of players I'm sure once they hear about the news.

Oh, the tournaments are going to be VERY challenging now...considering the qualifications for every song will have to be a AAA with all the hackers. Not to mention also the multiplayer games as well....ugh

I wouldn't be surprised at all if any of this happened (assuming the site owners will continue to "not care").

Here I was trying to see if I could get some tweaking on how [oni] is obtained due to what the token says, when the same people I'm trying to get to do that....could give a crap less about people hacking the game. How foolish of me, or anyone else to ever think that anything like that would ever happen knowing what I know now.

I guess I'm making a big deal out of all of this because I really love playing this game...but at the same time...I don't see this as a situation that should just be left alone either. Oh well, whatever they do...as long as I can play the game I am so fond of...I guess it isn't the end of the world or anything.

Ok--see now that post somewhat offends me because I spent a lot of time making a thread hoping that these cheated scores would get cleaned out so that not only my, but everybody else's scores would get clean. Obviously I'm upset about it but who are you to tell anyone when to take a break?

I guess it would be too much to assume that people would read everything I say before replying to it, but whatever. I know scores aren't the end of the world, and that score hacking isn't the most important thing ever, but it does annoy me that the administration doesn't care about it happening.

There are always going to be hackers, big deal. If the site owners would be a bit more attentive to such simple matters, I wouldn't have even have bothered to say anything in the first place. It isn't the hackers that are annoying me, it is that nothing is being done about it.

Honestly I know I'm not going to get anywhere near those scores anyway...so be being a few ranks down, even if I thought being ranked down on a song was a serious issue, wouldn't do much at all. I just wish that they would just see this obvious issue and take a few seconds out of there time to fix it, that is all.

Bottom line: If I can play the game still, I guess whatever happens, happens.

I have been a member less than 18 months. my grand total score exceeds 22 billion points. there are less than 29 people on Earth who have played as much FFR as i have. and now if i read your trainwreck of a post correctly, i'm one of those people who spent countless nights, days, weeks, etc on this game. i dont feel my opinion matters any more than someone who's recently shown up like foxfire here. but i do feel i am someone who should be able to voice their opinion, and my opinion is... they. are. just. numbers.

i understand the concern for maintaining the legitness of the players, but b*tching and whining because an overworked staff dealing with a primarily ungrateful user base isn't willing to fix everything as quickly as they used to is no reason to get all depressed over a game.
