What's your speed?

i'm training for a ddr tournament and im wondering what most people put
their speed on.

If you were any good at DDR, you would know that your "best" or the highest speed mod you have every played on is in no way dependant upon your skill, but rather the BPM of the song.

well i'm praticing on different speed mod because i want to be ready for what other people play.
i put it on 1.5 so if anybody does anything else (1, 2, 3) then i'll just laugh in their pathetic face and
say,"Bring it on sucka'!!!!

umm, the difference between 1, 1.5, and 2 x is minimal. I play a lot at about 170bpm scroll, but I play max 300 at 450 bpm scroll. It's not difficult to cope with a great variation in speeds... About the only time someone, I would htink, would get tripped up with speed mods in a tournament would be something like bag 1x.

i usually keep the setting at 3x or 2x unless i am playing:

A) Blur, Revo, or any other type of classical song (i put up speed to see arrows
B) Very Slow bpms like ice climber(5x) or payon(5-8x) to see arrows

I don't use speed mods that often...if any at all. I usually just keep it to 1x...if not, then 1.5x just to spread out the arrows a tiny bit.

I'm talking DDR by the way, for StepMania, I like it a bit faster, about 400-550bpm scroll is good for me (3x most songs)

and 450ish for DDR

2 for stepmania... usually no matter what. I sometimes use 1.5, but no t that often.

Usually 2X. Its works for Xenon and Twilight Zone well.
