In general, if you are having problems with a song, print screen the part, paste it into paint. Look at the picture for a while, practicing the finger movements and whatnot. Try easier songs. :/

for Death Piano? (to OP) your best hope is to either mash as much as you can and pass, or get better at other songs and try again later

you're not getting any benefit if you play a song that you're mashing 100% of the time

ffr doesn't make you miss notes if you hit them way early so there's no skill inherit in it

Just practice it once, try another song, go back, try another song, go back.

I can't whore out songs like mad, it just makes me mad in the end. If it works for you, try that I guess.
