Left-to-right rolls

It's making me mad because I can AAA everything in Novo Mundo except for the really fast left-to-right rolls that occur towards the end. I can go through the entire song with all perfects but I still end up with at least 10 goods and 2 or 3 averages after this part.

Right-to-left rolls are easy for me, I can do them no problem. But I can't do them left-to-right can anyone give me some tips on the rolls?

I think you are the only person in the world that is better at right to left rolls.
Umm, play kils how fast cen u roll niga wut for stepmania, I guess that should help, also valestine castle on mirror from VGMP3, the rolls are normally right to left, I mirror it to make then left to right, I dunno any other files with rolls of the top of my head.

Though you'll have to play SM for those, as for FFR, play things like hajnal, and novo mundo a lot, even though you can't do the rolls that good, over time playing it you'll get better at them.

I originally had a playing style I used where I never used my left middle finger, so perhaps the reason why I'm stronger on right-to-left rolls is because my right middle finger has played FFR more than my left. Maybe I'll just have to play and over time my right middle finger will get it

I think you are the only person in the world that is better at right to left rolls.

Left-to-right rolls are my worst pattern in FFR/SM. Generally, if I encounter them in a file (and don't quit out from sheer disgust), I'll end up botching them in some way or another.

As for practice, like Tera said, just play a bunch of files with left-to-right rolls.

Hehe, rolls of all kinds AND trills are my specialty. I've never had a problem with them except the LONG ass left trill in blooddrunk... the speed is easy but my left is unable to keep sync with the arrows. I either go too fast or too slow as the trill progresses. :/

I play LeftIndex, RightIndex, RightMiddle, RightRing.
Right to left rolls are a million times easier :/

play the song mirror (change your keys around say askl to lksa and turn scroll opposite way say if u plau up change to down and then flip your screen upside down) and that should make the rolls right to left.

Hi back tourney partner.

I used to play that same exact style, and it worked pretty well for most things, the exception being jumptrill and fast up-right trills. I switched to normal spread just because, and I've noticed myself getting much better.

I use to be just like you. Now I'm way better at left-to-right rolls (I'm not really sure why). I actually have got to where I can AAA those rolls most of the time (but now I get random goods at the jacks in the beginning). ._. Still, I suggest trying mirror mode.

Hm I play on a laptop so I can't really turn the monitor upside down... maybe I'll just have to wait until I get a desktop computer that works better than Vista to get this AAA lulz.

check your video drivers to see if you can flip the screen

because im on a laptop and i changed it to where alt+down flips the screen

Heh I'm on a school-owned laptop and they don't let us do sh*t on these things or see how to do them, I looked but I can't see anything about flipping the screen.

Triplet sub-divisions are your best friend (seeing as how the chart IS mis-quantized. >.>).
