I'm so much better at Right to left rolls then left to right. I'm probably one of the few spread players who can do trills pretty easliy. *Looks at fotbb AAA*
(Although, some songs like Blooddrunk and max forever tend to be too long and annoying)

The idea that RDCP 3 may come out in the future is a fun thought to have~

Right to left rolls are way easier for me.
This has partially been previously said but here it is all in one place:
Try pressing ctrl + alt + down. This function isn't restricted on my school comps and will rotate the screen 180, thus making the left-right rolls, right-left. Change your keys from askl (my pref) to lksa. Then change the scroll in ffr to down. If your a sub you can hide the timing judge because its right in the way for down scroll.
i think a lot of people like right to left rolls
i love left to right rolls they feel beautiful~
quick roll tutorial from my own experience.
with everyone i've encountered, people either find left-right or right-left rolls easier. whichever one you find easier you can probably roll your fingers quite naturally in that direction and those rolls basically act as the easiest possible stream pattern for you. you should have a certain amount of finger independence doing those rolls as well.
when playing rolls that go the opposite way you're comfortable with (right-left rolls for me), it's a lot more awkward. its very hard to go fast with any kind of accuracy and you may even start messing up the order you're hitting the notes (4231 instead of 4321 or something) as a result of lack of finger control going in that direction.
for these rolls, when they get to a certain speed, it can be easier to hit them less as rolls and more as a loose jumptrill. lift your hands a bit above your keyboard and just kind of drop your left hand down on the keys making sure you hit the left key first then the down--similar to how a flan is played on a drum. use that hand as a reference point: keep hitting those gallops with the quarter note and just focus on that. meanwhile with your right hand do the same thing but alternate it with the left hand and don't think about timing it. if you can do a [12][34] jumptrill then you should be able to PA those rolls pretty well doing that.
note that i don't know how fast novo mundo is and the rolls may be slow enough that you actually need some degree of control (about <150 bpm in ffr), in which case, ya boned.
Left-to-right rolls are pretty easy, though I shouldn't be saying this since I can't roll for ****. Reverse rolls however (right-to-left) are annoying as ****.
I never realized how many people thought right->left was easier than left->right. The reason is that I'm bad doing anything related to 2,4 or 8,6 (index->middle) so I give my bad hand (left, however strangely I write and eat with this hand) the 4,2 on a left->right so my right hand has to deal with the 8,6. Do I make sense? @_@
