    behind the curve

i feel like a lot of people are better at ffr than me
    which doesnt bother me
but then i see that a lot of them also have
    fewer plays
    higher totals
    shorter member lengths
    more aaa's and fc's

it wasnt until about two weeks ago that i got my first aaa
it wasnt a casual aaa either
i had to intentionally try to get it
i had to whore it out
because it was my lowest ranked song
and the best way to improve the rank was to go for the aaa
    normally out of about 1000 arrows i get~ 900 p 95 g 5 a
    if i concentrate like when i try for aaa's~ 950 p 49 g 1 a

now ive got a dozen or so aaa's
the majority of which are difficulty 1 or 2
ive been playing a lot of songs that ive never played before
so i can get any scores besides 0
ive still got at least 100 unplayed songs
i whore out to get a token or two every once a while

i guess the purpose of this thread is to ask for general opinions
the first two you should base off your own current stats ...

about how high would(or was) your total be at 10k plays?
about how high would(or was) your total be at 2.75 years?
how long did it take you to play every song?
how long was it before your first aaa?
out of 1000 arrows how many do you usually hit perfectly?

well im gonna go back to playing my 0's for a bit
thanks in advance to any feedback

    Re: behind the curve

Don't worry, I was like you a couple months ago. I had to whore Excite Bike to get my first AAA >_>

Well I'm close to 10K games played (9.7K). My total so far is about 2.5 billion. I used to play back in '05, but I don't think I actually started to improve until I began playing again around '08.

If you play enough, you will gradually improve. Try playing songs just above your skill level and join tounaments, it just might help.

Well some people Play Stepmania to Improve at FFR, and also some people that are good make alternate accounts, I started from scratch , no FFR or Stepmania skill, but I just kept playing FFR till I got better and still trying to improve I guess. Just either try to play Stepmania like the others, and also play more FFR.

Play StepMania on J7, then come back to FFR and you'll be really good.

Or you'll have FFR PA syndrome and be worse than before. You've got a 50/50 chance.

No, being good at SM will ruin you at FFR.

Being good at FFR will ruin you at SM.

          It never works both ways.
Why would you put that in your signature? You've lost your signature rights for a month. (You'll get them back on March 10th, 2012.)

I personally have 9,900 games played with 8.1 billion points, but the numbers will vary greatly among players due to booing out/auto-fail. Some people don't play very often for 2.75 years, while others play very frequently, and have thus much higher grand totals. I've only been here about a year and a half, so by 2.75 years, I'll probably get anywhere between 10 and 15 billion points, depending on how much I play in the future.

When I first started, I didn't care much for accuracy, and I didn't care that my levelrank had a lot of unplayed songs, so I'd always play the same few songs of difficulty 8+. As a result, my first AAA wasn't for a good 5 or 6 months, and it took a bit longer than that to play every song. Your last question depends on the difficulty of the song being played.

                1.) Not so high.
                2.) Very high.
3.) Maybe 5/6 months (I didn't try to play them all.)
                4.) Approximately 3 months.
5.) Depending on what song, but on average, 999? lol

There's too many factors involved so, you can't expect a definate answer from anyone.
Removed a .gif image so your total signature size isn't well over 1MB. Keep this in mind for the future.

I thought the first post was poem when I first looked at it. Being it is divided into stanzas and such.

about how high would(or was) your total be at 10k plays? - probably 3.5 bil
about how high would(or was) your total be at 2.75 years? - probably 800 mil
how long did it take you to play every song? - have not played every song.
how long was it before your first aaa? - 1 week
out of 1000 arrows how many do you usually hit perfectly? - 970/1000

Edit: I play with wireless keyboard too and FFR lags once in a while.
