about how high would(or was) your total be at 10k plays?
about how high would(or was) your total be at 2.75 years?
how long did it take you to play every song?
how long was it before your first aaa?
out of 1000 arrows how many do you usually hit perfectly?

    im guessing 7 or 8bill
depends if im still addicted to ffr would be high though
well the only ones im missing is the few secret songs other than probably a month
    2 weeks

      Re: behind the curve

I know what you mean. I get made fun of all the time for being worse than my experience would suggest (I've played off and on for almost 4 years now), yet my best FC is Lawn Wake 4 (lolharp5000 unlock, too!) and my best AAA is Work, only Very Difficult.

Different people improve at different rates, I guess. The way most people usually do it is that they start with the easy songs, then go up to higher difficulties, then when they're faster and more accurate and such, then they go back to the easier songs and FC/AAA them. I remember it took me months to FC Boss Machine, and until this year to AAA it, for example. And don't get me started on FCing CIA Rave... X_X

You're so good, 30 extra arrows materialize. Nice.
Why would you put that in your signature? You've lost your signature rights for a month. (You'll get them back on March 10th, 2012.)

          Re: behind the curve

I'd say it's based on how much one plays, too. I used to play FFR for a few hours per day, but now I'm down to less than an hour daily. It all depends on your addiction to the game.

about how high would(or was) your total be at 10k plays? I think it was 3Bil
about how high would(or was) your total be at 2.75 years? Don't know.
how long did it take you to play every song? Add up all the time lengths together.
how long was it before your first aaa? Around 2 weeks?
out of 1000 arrows how many do you usually hit perfectly? Depends on the song. Either AAA or 300 goods (DP) LOL

So now you've bent time to the point where you're hitting 1000 out of 950.

I think you've transcended time, good sir.

                        Re: behind the curve

Neuropsychological views place melodic and temporal structures processing independently as supported by brain damaged patients showing selective loss of operating in these perceptual subsystems. A 1993 study with a patient who could not process melody displayed a 16.6% higher accuracy over the control group in recognizing a rhythm variation masked by a change in pitch.

                        Triangle of success;
                        Skill: Can you do it?
Aptitude: Are you doing it better each time?
Passion: Do you love doing it?

Lack in any category will put you behind the curve. The current FFR backend does a good job of tracking modal data but not temporal data. Perhaps suggesting such will reveal interesting analysis. X% achieved Y in X time.

                            Re: behind the curve

We can't assume independence from the visual input at this juncture.

Really, I'm not adding to the conversation but that people will ALWAYS place differently on the curve and where you are really doesn't matter. If you come from a long line of DDR, DDR 2nd Mix, 2nd Mix extend disks, DDR 3rd Mix, DDR 4th Mix, DDR 5th Mix, Bust-a-Groove, Bust a Move, Bust a Move 2, Audition, etc. and still suck you better have some passion and resignation to sucking. If you have skill and aptitude enough to feel rewarded from your successes than go ahead, aim for success.
