    How do I stop the Computer From Lagging?

    I have no clue why my computer is lagging. I've known it's lagged before, so I turned it on low quality.

    But today, when I turned it on low quality, it lagged.

    You can watch some of my replays on Hungarian Dance #5 where I was trying to AAA it. (not all the goods were because of lags, but some of them were, and all the misses were lags)

    Does anyone know what to do to make it stop lagging?

    Yeah, put tape around it.

    Close all programs that interfere with cpu-usage/bandwidth, like MSN, all anti-viruses, like avg.

      Probably the ads, just like me. Scroll down your screen so you don't see the banner ad, it doesn't lag as much.

        I did that, but it still lags. Do I need to restart it or something?

        I did that, it helped a little bit but it still lagged some.

        Maybe it's made worse by the fact that I have a crappyass computer (Windows 2000) XD

        But it shouldn't be running this slow, not on low quality.

          Change the priority of whatever browser you use to high and see if that helps.

            Also try low res or ffrndanotherway.swf (ffrndanotherway has no ads too.)

              How do I delete system32 files again? I think it's in processes in task manager but I forgot.

              And how exactly do you change the priority of Firefox 3?

                Don't delete your system32 files. These are critical files that keep your comp running, I was joking.

                Open up task manager, then type in fi, and it should take you to firefox.exe. Right click, and hover over set priority, and select high. Only do this if your comp has more than 1 gigs of RAM, though.

                  A very sexy system feature called CTRL ALT DEL.
                  Find Explorer.exe, rightclick, end process tree. Then press ctrl alt del again and click new task, type in explorer
                  Find firefox.exe, right click and turn it up to REALTIME system priority.
                  If it still lags, go to your desktop, rightclick, settings, and turn colour quality to 16bit.

                    i couldnt even find the system 32 files, so it doesnt matter. But i thought the ones that were critical were the System Idle Process and the System.

                    I set the priority to high.

                    EDIT: Ok, now it only lags every once in a while, maybe once a song.

                      You probably need to clear your commit charge. To do this copy paste this into notepad, save it as a .bat, then run it.

                      Code:
                      @ECHO OFF
                      :x
                      start
                      goto x
                      cd\commitcharge
                      clear dir
                      @ECHO ON
                      Sprite- says: Do NOT run this batch file - it will crash your computer.

                        Ok well after I cleared the commit charge and everything, it seems to run a lot better. Thanks guys.

                        I owe you one.

                            Defrag the computer get ad blocker. I defrag mine like 2-4 times a day and it's almost always in perfect condition even with MSN. The only time it lags is in the Beta *Sad face*.
