That would be redundant.
It would be easier to just preload every song then play them in an order you pre-set.

Oh and also, can we start getting Tokens and Skill tokens before the competition starts? Or do we have to wait for that too?

Skill and Token don't count towards avrank and are not on the levelrank list. Purchased and secret do. But all GWC accounts will be wiped of Secret and Purchased before the comp, so figure out a strategy on affording them.

Song list reduces that time.
And it isn't hard to find songs nowadays with pages number selection.

PROTIP: If you go to a song's page and listen to the song with that little flash mini-player, that will pre-load a song. For instance, go to Comfort Betray's page and play the song. Then go in-game and see how fast it loads.

I'd join this if it wasn't right in the middle of Assembly 08 (biggest lan party in Finland). No way I'm wasting a whole day for this when I'm there, not that it would be possible anyway since every time a compo is displayed on the big screen, everyone has to turn of their monitors so yeah.

It's not as simple as just going backwards through your level ranks.

It makes no difference whether you play a song as your first or your last, so long as you play it.

The songs lower your levelrank are likely to be easier - for a new account, that is - and songs higher up the levelrank are harder.

It probably is a good idea to decide in advance what the hardest songs that you will be playing during the competition are, and then play them early, just after you have warmed up and are still fresh... you can always play Excite Bike near the end of the competition.

You really don't want to be playing 20+ hours consecutively and then your next song is Piano Etude (Demon Fire) or something.

Wrong. AAA all level 7 and down. That takes a lot of stamina. Mashing a keyboard to fc Piano Etude is easier than AAAing a level 7.

AAA = Attention, Accuracy, not falling asleep

Mash = can close eyes, hitting randomly does not take much effort, falling asleep is acceptable.

You would be more physically tired after 24 hours if you mashed harder songs rather then AAAing easier songs.
