Do I use a unique style?

I was just wondering if I was the only one (which I doubt), or a few people who use this style to play FFR.

Arrow Keys Used

Left= left index
Up= left middle
Down= right index
Right= right middle

It's the style I've always used since switching from one hand, and I don't think I'll be switching it for spread anytime soon (though I am learning spread while playing like this).

Just let me know your input, and if you think this style of FFR play is effective. If you have any doubts, you can just check my profile or level ranks.

Edit: Yeah it was a typo cry4eternity. ^^; I can't imagine someone using left index for both. O.o. I'd die trying D:

if that's not a typo i'd say that's pretty unique...
feels kinda inefficient as well

EDIT: Sounds a little more realistic now... It's basically just spread-style with the arrow keys, only the arrows are kinda mixed up. It's still kinda awkward though with the left hand up there like that. Never heard of anyone else playing like that though.

If you continue like that, you'll get a carpal tunel or a tendinitis (or something like that) on your left wrist. I know what I'm talking about, I had a tendinitis (the reason I don't don't know how to write it is that english isn't my native language) on both of my arms and I almost had a carpal tunel on my left arm. The way you're playing get your wrist in a pretty bad position while playing 'cause you might hurt yourself.

Yes I realize that my playstyle puts my left wrist in an awkward placement, and that's why I use my style only for things I haven't gotten used to playing spread yet (Difficulty 8's and higher). I'm trying to balance out using the two styles and I make sure to take frequent breaks when playing FFR to prevent such things from occuring.

I suggest you change your style before you hurt yourself. In my opinion, I do believe that style is unique.

I use:

I cant use any other playnig styles and get a good score :s (like spread)

Nah, I have seen it. Plus sometimes I feel like I play uniquely. Most people now play straight across(askl or something) and I play Left=M Up=L Down=2 Right=6. But I guess it is like another way of spread.

k guys, get your styles right.
put your fingers on the arrow keys and rephrase your styles.
If those really ARE you styles, fix them before you do something to your hands.

your style of play is not unique, it is 4-finger.

if it was pettanko i would say it was more unique but it's not

2 handed, i just have never seen anyone do that so i figured it was unique
